Aliencat Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 The Port of Montevidiyo is my first real Pirates MOC, except it's Vidiyo so I don't know if that counts I just really like the Vidiyo figures. Quote

zinnn Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Awesome build, love the colours, foliage and trees, the 3 goat flex ;), and the use of vidiyo characters. Does the building open on one side to reveal what’s inside? If so, is it decorated? Edited January 30, 2022 by zinnn Quote
Marooned Marin Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Beautiful, simply beautiful. The various use of colors is several levels beyond my ability, well done Quote
Cousarmy0001 Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Whoa! So... you got an LDD or whatever other program for that ship? The whole thing looks terrific, but that ship in particular is just great. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Really nice one ! Lovely figs and this hull shaping is wonderful ! Nice tower as well ! Quote
Brickander Brickumnus Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I like the color being used! Can you add more photos of the ship? Although I generally don't like small ships, yours is amazing! Quote
PxChris Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 The use of Vidiyo heads is brilliant and the result looks so delightfully fun. I almost wonder that with the completely outlandish color scheme of most of the Vidiyo sets (which I love BTW) if you couldn't have gone equally outlandish here! Quote
Red Rackham Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 The ship is soooo nice. A shark is the helmsman. Three goats clearly show that the port must be doing well. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Alone, the port scene is superb. The architecture is great, the details wonderful, and the small "Wolfpack" schooner perfect. Add in the humor element of Vidiyo heads and it's over the top. Well done. Quote
VaneStream Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Wow, this is phenomenal! Smaller ships are comparatively rare and I love this one! Beautiful shape and color scheme. Quote

I started with the shape of the hull, and filled it in from there. Quote

Captain Braunsfeld Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Everything in here is worth of high praise. Why did I not see this earlier? Great building style. The curves of the ship are excellent! And the title is funny! Quote

It looks fantastic, and the building technique of the sloop is interesting and (from my point) worth studying more. Quick question: how stable is the sloop? Is it only for display or this construction could survive light play by say careful ten-year old? Quote

It sits stable enough with gravity's help, but it's not playable. The whole back half is only attached to the rest of the hull by one hinge plate on each side. Gravity holds it in place, picking it up will warp it out of shape Quote
Kwear Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 (edited) Magnifico ! maravilloso ! Good moc and very nice chip with his sea base and the great tower. But the minifigs head ... the children are not fans. The rest of your creation is really wonder. Edited February 26, 2022 by Kwear Quote
_TLG_ Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Awesome build, there are lots of cool details! Quote

I already have a small vessel on my mind which would be perfect candidate for the experiment. I'll let you know, maybe this year, how that turned out Quote
Brickander Brickumnus Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Thanks for the pictures! The ship is superb! Can't wait to see it with the sails unrolled! Quote
GeoBrick Posted February 27, 2022 Posted February 27, 2022 Vidiyo or not, the scene is for sure bellisimo! Quote
