coreyschaaf Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 (edited) CROSSHAIRMy second release in the buildable figure series from The Bad Batch. The scale of the figure is the same as my other moc of Tech. These are both done in the same scale as the official buildable Harry Potter buildable figures by LEGO. I'm really happy with how the sniper rifle and the helmet came out. I plan on creating the Clone Force 99 version of Crosshair as well. Hunter, Echo and Wrecker are also in the works. Specifications: Pieces: 1178 piecesHeight: 11.8 inches / 29.8 cmWidth: 7.5 inches 19 cmLength: 7.5 inches 19 cm Edited February 1, 2022 by coreyschaaf Quote

I did a few versions of them and got lots of feedback on my initial concepts from some user groups as well as some of my followers on Instagram. I'm really pleased with the result, especially at this much smaller scale than the buildable helmets released by LEGO. Quote

I have been working on my instructions for it and have gotten through the Torso so far. After I finish, I sort / order parts and build following my instructions and make any necessary adjustments and then spot build areas that were updated. I tear it apart and let my wife and a few others build it and make note of any areas that gave them problems, adjust and finalize the instructions. I'm hoping I'll be ready in the next several weeks. I thought I posted about this last week, but I only sent out an email to people on my distribution list. Thanks for the reminder! Here is the teaser video of the release. Quote
karmajay Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 Here we go - I had a weird bricklink experience so I was missing some of the 1x1 black tiles and some of the longer smooth tiles on the weapon that I'm waiting for pieces. As far instructions, good job again they were easy to follow. My only comments would be I think step 352 looks weird and may only show 2 pieces in the picture (not the piece breakout but the build picture) added vice the build picture from step 340 which is the mirrored side. Also, I think step 374 should come before 373. :) Quote

I must have inadvertently changed the order. I'll be sure to update the pdf so others don't have a similar experience. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I also, did double check the steps, and it does show all three pieces. I will however modify the angle so it is more noticeable and less confusing. Thanks again! Quote
