May 29, 2024May 29 only looks like 1/8 & 1/10 on road at this stage but never say never i guess for future variants
June 4, 2024Jun 4 Just some pictures of the new CaDA tires. It is the 1/10 ones, have the 1/8 also here but no nice rims for doing shootings. Both sizes are exact clones of each other. Both are manufactured very well, profile and round shape given, for the softness aspect: on a plain desk surface they seem to slip more than they may grip.Full Resolution Image  Full Resolution Image  Full Resolution Image Edited June 4, 2024Jun 4 by aFrInaTi0n

My order hasn’t arrived yet 😕 But looking forward to the new wheels 😊 More slippery sounds great 😃 cheers Friedl Edited June 5, 2024Jun 5 by Milan Removed quoted text and images. June 6, 2024Jun 6 I think for RC needs it may heavily rely on the temperatures, weight of the model and power to spin the wheels (and finally no moving parts melting or cracking... :D)
June 6, 2024Jun 6 If they are not useful grippy rain tires what's the point for the Goodyear license? Also, they will only get harder as the years go by.

June 7, 2024Jun 7 @R0Sch They could have been more soft - but as we both know this would lead to stronger wear.. And for the material hardening out it is the same for all rubbers.. so for me not worth to discuss.  I think most of the people may just want to buy them for the looks - the rc field (with strong requirements) is considered a niche - unfortunately.. 😄 Edited June 7, 2024Jun 7 by aFrInaTi0n Typo fix
June 10, 2024Jun 10 surprising to see this topic get a bit dead Anyways, does anyone know if you can buy the alpha (the f1 car)'s wheels seperately now? I'm just getting back into bricks and those tyres look amazing.Â
June 10, 2024Jun 10 but its only same width for all 4 of a set, isn't it - so all are the same and go on the regular rims then? Edited June 10, 2024Jun 10 by aFrInaTi0n

July 2, 2024Jul 2 I'm sure TLG will not be amused that their lifelong collaboration with their raw oil beneficiary went astray to the competitor. I like the realism of the large gas station, but don't see a place where it would fit in the LEGO City, nor do I see myself putting it on display as a stand alone set. Does it have working lights or is it just box art?
July 2, 2024Jul 2 Well, gas stations have been part of Lego town and city layouts for decades, and in the past they have often had Shell logos. Lego hasn't made a big gas station for a big layout for almost a decade. It makes perfect sense for a growing competitor like Cada to exploit that gap in the market.

July 7, 2024Jul 7 Friend on my b-day gifted me one Cada set - C64001W. And i pleasantly impressed, for it's price it really awesome. Result is very solid - It's body and fairings are built like tank, and looks very stylish. Function wise its rather light - kickstand, rear suspension and steering (if it can be called like that :) ) Build uses alot of unique Cada's elements, like beams with pins on the end, or even leinght flip-flop beams. Parts quality was very decent. Front wheel smaller then rear - while rear are regular current bike wheel, front similair to old white bike wheel. Edited July 7, 2024Jul 7 by Arioh
