Unfortunately, it is now impossible to access Facebook from Russia - it is blocked on both sides. The model has been on sale for several months now. If it’s not difficult for anyone, please ask on Facebook for instructions or at least a list of parts for the C61049.

Will it be made apparent on the official website when the V3 has replaced the V2 as the model being sold? Or will you need to let us know here once CaDa have made this change?

I'm not sure. Either way I will post an update in this thread.

Well, 4 weeks later my replacement worm gears finally showed up today.  Doors and spoiler on my AMG are finally working as expected.  Thank you again to @amorti and @brunojj1 for all your help troubleshooting, investigating, and supporting the community of CADA builders.

PM him via the forum, a user's direct email wouldn't be posted in the forum.

There's a link to rebrickable embedded in the post.

I am happy to present my third CaDA model: Citroen C4 WRC officially licensed by Citroen. It is my first model which has been designed from scratch for CaDA whereas the classic sportscar and the London Taxi were based on older mocs. The scale roughly matches the scale of most Creator Expert/Icons cars.

Functions are rear suspension, independent front suspension, steering operated by steering wheel, working fake engine, opening doors, bonnet and trunk.

The model can be motorized using the CaDA battery box/receiver, an L-motor for propulsion and a servo for steering. Motorizing the model is a little more complex but also far more mature than motorizing the C61045 classic sportscar.

@brickphisto Looking good! It's amazing how you get so many features into these cars, when comparing to those same-size Icons builds.

Thanks! Squeezing these functions inside a rather small model is indeed the biggest challenge when creating those models. However comparing my models to the Creator Expert/icons cars is quite hard and not fair to either party for mulitple reasons.

It can certainly mean you have less space inside yours for a detailed interior, and perhaps need to be more careful about adding decoration which could fall off in a crash situation.

In any case, your philosophy for building this-scale cars is a closer match to what I like, it's why I have the classic German car on my display shelf! I will probably rebuild that soon, with a lower-power L-motor than the CADA Pro! Or maybe even as a static model, not sure yet.

Good work @brickphisto ! But I'm not a fan of stickers covering multiple pieces. I wonder why this model does not run under the Master theme and has the same box design as the Arctic Wildcat RC ATV.

Thanks! I do not like stickers at all either, especially covering multiple pieces. But I guess it is impossible to avoid that for a brick build rally car. Funnily first I was told we should stick to the 2008 Monte Carlo version (red/white) which would have looked good without any stickers at all. Then after my design had been finished they went for the Red Bull version without telling me or even asking me. :wall: I do not care if it says "Masters Series" as long the designer is given credit.

As far as I know my next model comes with prints only like @brunojj1s AMG One.

CaDA could have at least split the stickers like we see in Speed Champions sets. The Monte Carlo version would have been my prefered design as well. A "Red Bull" color scheme without the main sponsor(s) makes zero sense.
What I meant is that it's a little inconsistent when a set is considered Masters Series and when not. Is it just the packaging or a name similar to "Icons" for more challenging builds?

Amen to that. Regarding the missing "Masters Series" on the box I guess Citroen has the last word on the packaging and maybe they did not like it. But I do not have any insight into marketing issues or negotiations with license holders. Afaik "Masters Series" is reserved for MOC designs like mine and it is not meant to describe how challenging the build is.

Good day all, I'm interested in buying the Mercedes-AMG ONE C61503W set, in some review on YT was reported the needs to buy some parts to replace/upgrade the ones provided in the kit , is this still the case? or the kit now being sold from Cada on their official websites already included these "upgraded" parts?

Thanks in advance and kind regards

Hey Andrea, welcome to EB!

It may be my video that you've seen? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SzY7wDIdAc

I'd suggest to buy the knob gears from CaDA at the same time as the car: https://decadastore.com/products/cada-bricks-technic-knob-wheel-jh9066

Everything else is working fine without extra pieces. The only remaining risk is that you get incorrect worm gears. It didn't happen to everyone and I don't know if CaDA has fixed that in the existing product, so you could also contact them and ask.

If you do get it direct from CaDA, you can use my affiliate link for a small discount: https://bit.ly/44IaqZD

You can optionally buy 13x of these 3x3 liftarms. It would make construction a little easier in some places, but it's definitely not a requirement.
