This thing - called world fastest tractor. World's Fastest Tractor (jcb.com)

Was considering also large scale, but stopped for a moment on some midsize.

At the end it has also some functions - fake engine, differential, HOG steering, openable hood. Also on original there are not much function - mainly high speed.

Disclaimer - inside pics was better then in outside somehow (maybe because of winter)

Fake engine - four working cylinders, but it is six studs long, so two really fake cylinders. In fact, to be in scale, this kind of fake engine with 6 working cylinders, would fit with Volvo loader wheels. Engine is at slight angle, just like on original

This is how HOG steering crosses drive axle (red)

Bonnet could have been better, but there is no 9x3 curved panel or similar. I tried idea with some angled connectors, but this straight solution seemed better. Also it would been good to have those rear fenders in yellow. They are available, but I don't have them. Rebrickable showed, that average price is 30EUR, but in fact, it appeared, that they are some few euros on bricklink. By form they are almost perfect.

Maybe will continue with large scale on Volvo wheels. But who knows, when that will happen.

Very interesting solution for the HOG crossing the drive axle !
I'm not a big fan of the front looks, but the real seems to be strange as well, so that's okay :D

On a side note, I'm really wondering what is the point of such a vehicle IRL…

The solution for the steering is intersting, but using a blue 20T clutch gear would have been simpler and better imo.

As for the tractor, I think this is very ugly. Both the real version and your model. But i guess that means you did a good job recreating it :laugh_hard:

Dammed; I've planned to make it full RC with 94.3 tires

I grant You permisssion to do that :bonaparte:

Steering angle was pretty limited, so used this option, and it somehow it was even simpler. And just wanted to try this kind of option.

Thank You. For pure technic build, there are not much options in this scale. As I wrote, need to wait for lego to develope 3x9 curved panel.

Thanks for permission

Regards

For 3 x 9 curved panel can't you use 3 x 7 curved and 2 extensions?

I thought about this kind of panel

250x250p.jpg?1642524438.0326233

But shorter, as in scale bonnet is some 9 studs long. This 13x3 will be OK for that large scale.

Side by side also two firing panels would be too wide for scale.

That is the reason I make 1:15 scale (for 1:18 there is no place for PF components)

My Syn-Trac project needs such in black, but as you sad there are none yet...

Interesting tracors, and they are competing with JCB fastrac, as that syn-trac has 80km/h option

Yes,there are several interesting tractors that I would like to replicate; even some concepts like this one ...

Ah yes, the Massey Ferguson concept! 42124's tyres are built for that thing.

Yes, but I was hoping for some bigger tires; with 75mm tires it woul be relatively small (original has 1500mm tires, so it could fit Lego Xerion)
