KingOfLiberation Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Pretty sure Bionicle has its own creation story (someone more familiar with the Tomes of Lore can explain it). Also remember reading that "alternate universe" has a very specific meaning pertaining to the Bionicle-verse that doesn't work with other themes. The problem with trying to link the lore-heavy themes is that contradictions arise, and the creators (mostly Tommy) have stated at various times that most aren't connected. Quote

Valid point, yeah I don’t remember the creation story of bioncle, but I thought it would be funny to make that connection, even if it’s completely ludicrous. Quote
Wolfpackfan99 Posted February 14, 2022 Author Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) And now we begin on another possible theory, consider the following: Hopefully we all remember the 2010 direct-to-DVD masterpiece known as Lego: The Adventurers of Clutch Powers, in the beginning of the film, we see clutch in various sets from other themes while in Lego city (power miners equipment, agents car, space police 3 ship), clutch and the team travel to the prison planet (space police 3), and also to the castle planet (2007 and 2008 fantasy era sets on steroids), anyways what this all boils down to is that the themes seem to be in different planets. Alrighty the theories are about to get trippy: What if all the themes are just one theme or story seen by different perspectives? Or what if the themes are just the Lego interpretation of the multiverse? Is duplo just the prehistoric history of Lego Neanderthals, the primates of the modern minifigure? The Lego Movie 2 played into this. There’s the 7 systems & a visit to Planet Duplo. Going back to the Ninjago City Gardens talked about briefly...the Ice Planet team is known about in Ninjago(perhaps the owner of the parlor is a former team member). And we have M-Tron, Blacktron & Fabuland shirts in both Ninjago & Bricksburg. Sure, it’s likely it’s a just fun nod to classic themes, but it’s way more fun to connect them in this way. Sidebar, the double decker couch was spotted in the warehouse that houses the Ninja’s mechs...so even that is connected. Quote
The Island Chronicles Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I see Bionicle/Hero Factory as more of a video game world within the world of Lego that has its own theme. Quote

Don't forget the Galidor shirt Mother Doomsday is wearing in the original Ninjago City set from 2017! Quote
Asajki Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Stuff like Ninjago, the movies and Bionicle aren’t. However imo I think everything else is. Lots of Lego space themes are canonically connected and since lots of Lego city space themes have the same logo as classic space, it leads me to believe it could be the same company. This is something I’d love to really delve into sometime Quote
The Island Chronicles Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I'd say that pretty much all themes with yellow people are in the same universe. Quote
