Maybe you expect a Ferrari... Well, close enough 

 

My entry for the Festival of Mundanity, hosted by BrickNerd and The Lego Car Blog.

Fiat Multipla is probably one of the most atrocious cars ever made, It is ugly and mundane at the same time.

I made it in 7wide'ish and actually had fun building it.

Oh my god, that car is hideous. Your rendition in lego is almost spot on, just as ugly. Interesting car to choose, but looks nice in lego nevertheless.

Amazing! I don't think anyone has ever made the Multipla in brick before. I always found it odd in a cute way when I was a child. 

And I have to agree, the design is spot on!

Beautiful recreation of a hideous abomination. I think the Fiat Multipla is uglier than the Pontiac Aztec. Your model captures every detail perfectly.

The Multipla is a piece of design genius that was ahead of its time. Not many cars can seat six and still have luggage space on such a small footprint. With the rear seats out it could transport a standard size pallet.

Why not? The problem with car design in recent years is that the majority of car companies are scared to be different. If you took the badges off a great many cars today the average person would not be able to tell you what it was.

thats also kinda true i get your point. for me the design just isnt good looking. i for example really like peugeots current design. but i really shouldnt be too judgemental when it comes to cars: my car is a 2002 renault kangoo with a whopping 75 hp and plasticky interior.

I've just remembered that Legoland Windsor were at one time sponsored by Fiat and had many different models including the Multipla in Miniland.

I never would've expected someone to build this hideous car with LEGO bricks. :D You managed to capture it's "shap" perfectly!

That is the ugliest car I have ever seen and they have made some ugly cars. I actually think the LEGO version is cute in it's own way. It's incredibly different. One of the best MOC cars I have ever seen.

But damn the real thing is horrible.
