Gray Gear Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Idk if this would work, but how about actually making this a GBC module by slightly increasing the speed on the track? That way the balls will still move up even though they try their hardest to roll back down Quote
iLego Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Wonderful idea !! I haven't seen this anywhere else, so perhaps you have invented a new GBC mechanism ! Quote
dr_spock Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Nice idea. Like climbing the corporate ladder at work and going nowhere. Quote

With promotion to the next level arriving at the same type of treadmill - or dumped down ... depending on the speed of would-be "performance" = RPMs of a ... spinning wheel. As Alan Parsons voiced it - "There are unsmiling faces and bright plastic chains - And a wheel in perpetual motion". This is really a totally cool "endless ball track" - I love it. And I am very tempted to build it and show it off in my office. Regards, Thorsten Quote

Thanks.... I haven't seen this mechanic anywhere. But since chains are very common, I would be surprised if someone hasn't already tried it Quote
Paperinik77pk Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Funny and ... different! I like it a lot The timing/gearing is really well done! Great! Ciao! Davide Quote

XG BC Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 this needs to be made into an actual moduele. great concept! love it! Quote
SaperPL Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Really cool idea. Here's what I'd recommend doing - figure out a way to make it automatically put balls there or prevent them from falling off when the machine is turned off. Refine the design, hide the track behind some tiles etc, and make an enclosure for this. Put this on Lego Ideas and it's going to be a hit as long as this is something that can be turned on from time to time :) Quote
