Having said this, he made his way out into the entrance hall, stopping when he saw Jonk listening at the door. Sidling over quietly, he listened for a moment to the voices beyond. After a moment he nodded to Jonk and slid over to the mess hall. Once inside, he coughed and addressed his companions. "I can't find any sign of where Bertam has been taken, but there were three people in the storeroom recently. I saw their footprints." He gestured vaguely in the direction of the door he'd just come through. "There are people on the far side of the middle door, the one across from the entrance. They don't seem to have noticed we're here yet." Quote

Jonk starts at F5, and once everybody is in position will take their curious golden pill (Crescendo) and attack the Daraki Head Thug three times before booking it to D7. The world around him seems to slow down and he feels a vigor in his body that emboldens him with seemingly limitless power. The celestial fires off three rapid blaster shots at the Daraki with deadly accuracy. The effect is short lived however and Jonk's spirits come crashing down, paralyzing him with doubt, fear, and abject dread. Enson follows up Jonk's assault with swipes from his own weapon but is unable to land a strike. Thankfully Aysu lays down cover fire, further wounding the thug as Billeck scores a hit on the Chimeran. Wollipog begins to disable the central chamber as the the cooling units are quickly disabled. The Daraki thug downs a Crescendo of his own and attempts to down the Quo'ri, but his aim proves poor and Enson easily dodges most of the shots. The Chimeran, seemingly annoyed at Billeck's attack, unleashes a power radiation spell upon the fighter who begins to burn from the searing heat. The creature in the middle of the room quickly thaws and begins to stir. Golden appendages lining its body shine with a brilliance even as its ebony skin flutters with an almost intangible appearance. With a mighty kick of its hooves, the revived monster shatters its glass enclosure and looks to attack the nearest foe. "Sod, do you have any idea what you just let loose?"
