Yes. In legos teaser for the 90th anniversary stuff at lego con they basically confirmed we would be seeing the castle and Galaxy explorer there

They do not mention any info about the Castle in the latest promo for the Con so now I am starting to worry that we will not see it on Saturday next

Well, you can worry about it if you want. I’m still optimistic that we will see it Saturday, but that’s mostly because measured expectation is more fun than (potentially) needless worrying.

I'm neither worried nor excited. I don't care. After last year, I'm not wasting my time on LEGO Con. I'll see the pictures of the Castle eventually whenever they are released and that'll be just fine.

Falconfan said it would be revealed then and I would believe him.  Plus maybe they want it as a surprise.  We know about it but most fans don't

I've been hearing it will be revealed, as well as a couple other sets. One of them being the big Marvel building. Also, you don't need an official leak to know the castle set is being revealed. It's mid June. It's Lego con. It's a 90 year anniversary set. Of course they're revealing. How is this not obvious? 

They are trying to cultivate LEGO Con in to a hyped event. You need reveals. They should have learned this before the first LEGO con. They learned it now at least.

It make sense they do it then, but last years Con was a big disappointment in the "reveal department". I hope and it looks like they have learned their lesson, time will show on Saturday and I am looking forward to it at least

These events are so horrible to sit through. The last one I watch was the 10th anniversary reveal for the modular line. What a bore for an hour and fifty eight minutes, then two minutes dedicated to the modular. Never again.

It'll get covered on Promobricks and other Lego news outlets as soon as it's revealed, so you can just catch that when that happens.  That's what I did when Promobricks first unveiled their Castle leak from their video, they immediately uploaded articles onto their site.

I think it is always interesting to get some in depth info from the designers and I liked the modular one. Last years Con was not the best regarding news, but I hope this one is better

Tiago Catarino has a review up and he say that the GWP forestmen set will be available from June 15th-June 22nd, 2022 Reactivation: Aug 2nd – Aug 14th, 2022
So looks like it is possible to get with the castle after all
Then the question is if I take the chance of waiting until August so see if there is any stock left

That's too much of a gamble.  I would ideally love to pick up sets of August 2nd to 14th, but there are big problems with that too because major release will be August 1st, and there is always a chance of Castle selling out on August 1st as well.

I remember buying Winnie the Pooh day 1 within hours of release online.  My wife's cousin was unable to get it later in the same day; it was sold out by noon.  And even then, it's hard to say whether there will even be enough GWP in August to go around.

 

I may pick up a second GWP box since I plan on getting Monkie Kid Heavens Realm, and I don't think that one will sell out any time soon.

Almost like they are screwing with us.  LOL.  Castle release August 1.  GWP August 2.  Maybe they are trying to prevent 10305 from selling out in 5 minutes.  Good thing about the castle though is it should be available again and for a while if you risk it and miss the first batch.  Also makes it easier to get another GWP if you want more than one.

I see several people reporting that they have had GWP deleted from multiple orders earlier this year. So you might ending up only getting the GWP with your first order, in brand shops I am not sure how they will enforce the rule with one per household there

Lego's site said "one per household" so I'm curious to see how that plays out. My partner got up early to order and get one, and I did later in the day. My order shows it, but I suppose when boxes arrive, we'll know.

Just guessing but I think the way it works is they have this policy, but the system is automated.  So if you make one order and get the GWP then days later make a separate order that ships separately they don’t go back and search the records to make sure you didn’t already get it and just toss it in according to the order.  Maybe the ones that get cancelled were people who made separate orders the same time and LEGO  saw two orders open same house and decide to consolidate those and send together.  Then they would not toss two into the same box.  They would invoke the policy and send one.  Personally, I have received the same GWP multiple times and never had one cancelled, but I have never targeted a GWP.  Just happened to make another order while it was still open.  So just making a guess because others have said they get cancelled sometimes.
