The video also answered my question about the tricky hinges near the buIlding. They don’t even know how it works! Quote

I know that on one side of the part they opened up is the forestmen's hideout (underneath the little market area). The Verge article shared earlier had a pretty good view of that. The other thing they could potentially be seeing would be the pathway from that area to the secret entrance near the tree, which hasn't shown up clearly in any of the pics so far, Quote

Anyways, are you saying Mike is one of these designers worn Lion Knights’ Castle AND Galaxy Explorer, correct? Yes, but looks like Milan Madge is the lead designer on the Castle and Mike is on the spaceship Quote
danth Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Wow, the balcony that turns into a bridge...that is just nutso levels of awesome. Quote
ZCerberus Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I am highly disappointed by the amount of misogyny in here. For how many years did we all crave more female minifigure heads? And now all we can complain about is the existence of female knights- or how lipstick is going to be smeared when they put on their helmet? Straight up ridiculous and shameful. If your army is sexist, change the heads or close the visors- but for goodness sake, leave the misogyny back in the medieval times where it belongs. I encourage anyone who sees more of this nonsense in the thread to report it and I will be issuing warnings and slapping the enlightenment stick on idiots who care more about protecting their gender ideology than discussing LEGO. Thank you muchly. Love the set by the way. Expensive- yes- but it is what LEGO is now. Quote

And a neat little hint at something more at the end. Good to know there's still some secrets they're keeping for later reveals! Thanks for the link, you know it is good when Andres is almost speechless " Are shields printed or stickers?" "Only printed elements (as far as I could see)" Quote
jodawill Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I got my first Black Falcons from PAB today. Except for some Technic stuff, I haven't bought a new Lego set since Benny's Space Squad. I had issues with the torsos cracking in that set, just sitting in storage. It may just be my imagination, but I think the quality of the minifigures has improved since then. The joints on these feel stiff and they feel much more durable. I hope that's true because I want the minifigures in this new set to last my entire life. I can't wait to have a full army of each faction. Quote

Lion King Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 (edited) Due to my visual impairment, I totally had no idea there are female knights in this set. But I’m a man and…I like this idea! I have seen so many male knights in Lego world and ….well, it’s time to welcome female knights to fight with them. Although, I kinda wish King would be included in this set - he and queen would support women to become knights! J overall, I have no complains against female minifigures in this set. jodawill Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I have no problem with a queen's castle because that's pretty normal from an historical perspective. There have been lots of queen rulers. I think it's a cool idea. Quote
Lyichir Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I did like the suggestion somebody in this thread had to use the CMF classic king and queen as the regents, and have the "lady of the castle" be their younger and more battle-ready daughter/heir. Though that may largely just be my fondness for those figures speaking. Quote

To me, the dress makes her look obese, and there's something about the face that seems off to me. I prefer this queen myself, but I don't think the colors would go well with the rest of the set. dimc Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 I at some point managed to pick up a handful of minifigs from Kingdoms Joust, so I'll use this queen. I don't have her diadem, but I do have the king's crown from same set, so she works well that way. I gave her a jeweled scepter that I think makes for nice royal decrees. The princess and nobleman should also fit into the 90th scene well too, maybe have them as visitors or something. I could make a nice royal carriage as I do have one of the war horses with barding that could guard it. Quote

It's not in all the pictures, but it's on the front of the box. Quote

Although that problem is somewhat realistic. A plain red 2x2 slope still looks OK. Any red queen would probably do, but the great thing about that queen for this set is the blue/red combo. Quote
