It’s close to the 3rd on some parts of the world and you know how some stores just let them go before Street date, I figured they would out and about already 🤷

I went to the LEGO store today and one of the employees was sitting at a table with an open box building the set for display.  So not for sale but they are out there.

It would be cool and weird, a good friend of mine always told me they build the Lego sets when they can but the whole entire store helps 🤣, I would be territorial “mine” get your own 🤣🤣

Now that it is the day before release, does anyone know how much stock stores will have? I'm going to try and call my local store here to see if they know.

I called my local store here in Austria, they told me that they have enough stock of the castle and still some GWPs left that should last „if you arrive early“.

 

I am probably one of very few not liking the Ideas Blacksmith (I think the blue giant rooftiles are super ugly plus the size is odd, even on its own, like the walls of each floor would be nearly 4m high), so I did not order one of these to get the GWP but just ordered a bunch of stuff on PaB on the 1st of August.

I believe that to be an unanswerable question. I think it's reasonable to say that stock will likely vary, and that the initial availability in store will range wildly as soon as sales start. Most will likely sell out very early, and then restocking will further complicate the timetable. Your best bet is to get friendly with your local store and structure your schedule around theirs, lol.

I've had luck calling the store in the past and they've said how many they have and when they expect it to sell out. They're often pretty good, but you may want to try and get there first thing, just in case it's more popular than they expect.

Well, I stopped by my local Legoland Discovery Center yesterday and they had mistakenly put one out for sale.  I quickly purchased it and ran home with it.  5% off and got the Forest Hideout GWP with it too!  Building it today.

Just took a break for dinner….This thing is amazing.  I’m only on bag 7 but am just enamored with the techniques, parts, and details that are included.  The new Lion Knights shields are fantastic.  I really like the update.  Back to it…!

OMG if it’s out stock already on the shop online lego store I’ll definitely be there bright an early tomorrow, I called my local lego store and they were like Oh yeah we got some but LOL we “don’t Know” how many we got.  I know they are lying because my home girl told me they got them in last week lolol.

Any other promos that go live tomorrow as well? I’m not holding out hope for another Forest Hideout due to demand this month.

I'm in Australia and ordered it just before midnight,  when it said in stock and got my confirmation email. However by the time I woke up my order is on back order,  shipping before August 25th. 

Exactly the same as what happened with the with the Titanic

Yes, indeed. In the Finnish online shop still had it and I ordered our set. And also got an forest hideout gwp. 

Can't wait to get it so we cam build the castle.

Sorry for the offtopic, but are there any fan remakes of 6080 out there that are more faithful to the original than this set? I mean, keeping the overall shape and features. I've seen numerous remakes of 6074, for example, but 6080 seems to be getting little attention.

natesroom, I suspect you'll have to wait a bit.

Here in Europe it went for sale around 01 CET. And that is 00 BST.

So USA might either be 00 EDT or as late as 00 PDT. Is my guess.
