I wonder if more castle sets will come out within the next year. This one is kinda meh. I'm waiting for them to do one similar to the rejected Lego Idea castle ones.

for points redeeming it only allows me a 5, 25 and 50 voucher though i should be able to redeem 65. Do i have to do 4 voucher redeemable codes, and then enter all 4 of them into my purchase?

I'm looking through the instructions right now, and I just saw there's a piece that's a 1x1x(2/3) brick. Is this the first time that piece has appeared? They have a note about it on step 25.

Edit: I'm not sure what the point of that piece is. Is there an advantage over using two 1x1 plates?

Yes, you can use multiple money off vouchers in the same transaction.

Unless you know something I don't know, the Forest Hideout is gone. It went live on August 1st at midnight and it sold out within 8.5 hours.

Some stores might have some available still if you are lucky, I know legoland has them for sure! 

I’m having problems checking out when ever I try to I get an error and a second ago the backorder button popped up with 25th august ship date 🙄

I'm really excited to get so many VIP points. Except for a few small things, I haven't really bought new sets since the 2015 pirates wave. I've been wanting those classic space and Octan hats for quite a while. Now they're within reach!

This is by far the largest set I've ever bought. Until now, the largest set I've ever owned was 8880, which I bought used off Craigslist a few years ago. This set has more than three times as many parts. That set took me forever to build, but I was also building from an unsorted pile with low resolution instructions I could barely make out. I wonder how this set will compare time wise.

Don’t actually expect Europe to run out of the hideout or the castle today but still ordered at midnight just in case. 
 

I’d be very sad if I waited just to get the pirate back and then missed out.

I just picked mine up in the store in Vienna, incl. GWP. They also had loads of pre-built medieval minifigures, so I picked up six polybags of these as well.. ahh there goes my money :D

Ooooh. What king of medieval minifigs are we talking? Build A Minifigure kind ones or like the lion and falcon figs from the actual castle? Don't make me drive to my nearest store!

Haha no figs from the actual castle but some nice civilians and military figures that were previously all sold out here in Austria. Plus, there was a torso I have never seen before.. blue, white arms and a silver heraldic lily on the chest.

Here in the USA the GWP is long gone online.  I will be trying my LEGO stores this morning in hopes they have the GWP still available.  

If there is no GWP left, I will just buy a single set for actually building.  I plan on buying a bunch of these sets, but it will be on the shelves for a long time.  Any future purchases can wait for double VIP or another good GWP offer.  After all I will not likely open the rest of the sets for quite a long time.  I am currently working on sorting my Prince of Persia sets...
