June 25, 200816 yr This sounds good! Need to get my hands on a "Premium Edition". Will probably not be to hard -Ras-
June 25, 200816 yr Premium edition, eh? Sounds good, but I sense I'll just be getting the regular version. 26th June isn't long to wait either, so I think my next S@H order may include this.
June 25, 200816 yr 26th of june was a long time to wait as it was first anounced for begin of may. I ordered mine two months ago, the money has been taken directly but since then nothing; not a mail to warn about the delays, not even a mail to thank for the order. The only thing you can see is an "offen" (open) at the order status when logging onto the site. It looks astonishingly amateurish until now. Hopefully the catalog itself won't... So the 'premium edition' sounds more as a (bad) joke right now. Edited June 25, 200816 yr by Karto
June 25, 200816 yr Wow, seems cool. Although, define..."gimmicks"...if its got studs on it, or something, then i'll be happy.
June 26, 200816 yr I had to order one. Can't wait, I'm really looking forward to this catalogue. 'Exclusive Lego gimmicks' sounds like a phrase deliberately designed to whet the appetites of completist AFOLS
June 26, 200816 yr I ordered a normal copy for me, but I try to get one of these exclusives. Thanks for the info, Matija!
June 26, 200816 yr Hopefully this is available from Lego.com or an online book store; ordering direct from the publisher results in shipping charges of 25.00 Euros to the US, more than the regular edition book itself! This may be my only option for a premium edition though; I am more interested in the hardcover aspect of that edition than any of the extras. Edited June 26, 200816 yr by Section8
June 26, 200816 yr Here.Your welcome. Thanks for the link! One Premium Edition ordered. I can't imagine these will be around for very long before they sell out.
June 28, 200816 yr Here´s a link to the information in pdf-format. Sorry, Copmike, but your link doesn´t seem to work. It looks like you posted a thumbnail-pic of the pdf-file.
August 7, 200816 yr This link should workThanks but now we have the new pictures with the extras: CopMike
August 7, 200816 yr I guess that this limited edition is going to sell out pretty fast now... Do the other golden bricks, 50 years celebration bricks, have the years engraved/printed on them too?
August 7, 200816 yr Just ordered mine. It'll be a birthday gift [surprisingly, the release date is my birthday! ] But those shipping charges make me sick.
August 7, 200816 yr I already ordered mine on the publisher's website, it seems there is a limit and they will not publish more then 3333 copies. Furthermore I just received an e-mail today that the releasedate is the 11th of august, maybe there are still some copies left, if you want them check out the website of the publisher here: The publisher's website Good luck!
