dumb question, I am orange correct? or the blue on the excel sheet right? everytime I zoom into the map, I can't till where I am...doh. I believe I can build on Kashyyyk, can some one confirm? cheerss

Yes, you are orange in the map. Kashyyk is in P9, that is under control of the Dark Side. If you want to challenge them and build there you would need to capture sector Q10 first, where you already have 39 points.

With Q10 in your hands you would have access to the surrounding sectors.

Yes, but -> If I'm correct you may only build in the 4 direct surrounding sectors of a square you control (I mean the sectors with a common side of the one you control) I don't think the diagonal is allowed (for now, it could be put under discussuion or became an update of the rules for the new version incoming)

So @Jody Meyer for now you should control P8, P10 Q9 or O9 to build in Q9

however I let @MKJoshA having the last word for this particular point. (I'm not against the "diagonal build")

Yes, that's correct. The exception being if a major Hyperspace route runs through it. But Q10 doesn't have a major lane is it's just the 4 immediately connected to Q10 that the Mercs will have access to after gaining control.

Hmmm, i was always under the impression that it were always the 8 sectors surrounding a sector that you can build in.

EDIT: Ok now i read it in the first post. Was that changed at some point? I really thought that diogonal is possible too. My bad.

I guess i mixed things up. It was like this in the old factions with the 8 surrounding grid sectors. Sorry for the hassle.

Another question: since the DS basically took away any chances for a late LS charge to P10 - with a tactical maneuver Grand Admiral Thrawn would be proud of - we are basically just curiously watching. Does the DS need to take P10 completely to trigger... something at Rorgam? 

By the way, since we are not so many players now, how about you @MKJoshA join in building too?  It got to be itching you in the fingers, ain't it?  And there is enough space for stories in this big galaxy

You're not "out"...

The DS had just some detail to fix on Genian ( yeah P10 )... But it's not sure we have something to fix on Rorgam

Technically we maybe still could reach Rorgam but that would require like 400 Points from M11 or P7.   -->  that's impossible.

Alright, scores have been corrected and all scores posted in the topics. L9 has 67 points currently.

As for P10, yes it would be very hard for the LS to get to it. So we're waiting for DS or Mercs to take it which will trigger an event, yes

However, the event may be slightly delayed if someone gets there too fast. I'm still in process of building it!   I just made an offer on a house and will hopefully have a dedicated Lego building space by Jan. Till then all my Lego are in boxes. I'm still working on the Rorgam build, but it's more challenging.

And as soon as I have that space I intend to build a lot. So expect to see overarching story builds from me a lot in 2025!
