Posted June 26, 200816 yr Well, while i was gone on vacation, the people who were watching our house let their kids come in...You can figure out the rest. Anyway, the vehicles are fried, hogwarts' Foggyville campus is a little damaged...and for some godforsaken reason there's frosting in the cargo ship... not to mention cargo contaners and the like are scattered around randomly...Now i have to clean it up all over again... There is going to be heck to pay. perhaps i'll make them rebuild it all without stopping for food, water or to go to the bathroom? Edited June 26, 200816 yr by maiq the liar
June 26, 200816 yr Frosting!?!? That would make me furious. One of the only things that really frustrates me is parents who don't discipline their children. There is no way my folks would have let me get away with that kind of behavior. I hope the parents are at least appologetic.
June 26, 200816 yr That sucks thats why i have a lock on my door and a key but even then stuff still happens, I should actualy USE the key
June 26, 200816 yr I fell sorry for you. I used to have a Destruct-o-made that would take my newly built LEGO sets and toss them into bins. They broke. Edited June 26, 200816 yr by cartoondude
June 26, 200816 yr Author Well, my city is in the family's formal dining room, no doors there: just baby gates.
June 26, 200816 yr Annoying little buzzards. If something like that happened to me, I'd go balistic! Bad luck man . Baby gates, huh? Here's what you do: Since the kids obviously raid Foggyville when they arrive, tell the house-sitters that they can't let the kids in. Who are they to let them in anyway? It's your house, not theirs; they shouldn't be allowed to watch your house and mess it up at the same time!
June 26, 200816 yr Take heart...2 years ago Tabletown was UTTERLY destroyed by my builder...and yet it was reborn, even greater than before - with proper healthcare and everything. It can happen to Foggyville too. Dr. S.
June 27, 200816 yr Author i will take heart...but i think revenge would be more rewarding first Oh well, at least most of the damage is just to vehicles. the buildings are mostly intact. of course, i'm not sure exactly how rewarding revenge against a 5 year old mexican girl and her 8 year old brother would feel... June 27, 200816 yr There must be some way to use Power Functions to slightly electrify the borders of Foggyville. Nothing too extreme, just to give a slight unpleasant 'bzzzzt!' Some talented customiser will no doubt have a solution .
June 27, 200816 yr Why didn't you locked that room or said it's forbidden for the kids to come there?
June 27, 200816 yr I know how you feel. My mother's friend's small child was unleashed upon my Castle display without her watchful eye. I came home to find Exo-force invading a destroyed Castle/Arkham Asylum mix up. It was horrible. So, I know how you feel. Don't worry, things get rebuilt in the end, and, as Doctor S said, they often end up better than before. But frosting? Man, I feel for you.... ~Peace
June 27, 200816 yr That's to bad man. Frosting? That's awful! When kids come and stay in my room while I'm away I allways make 'Please do not touch the LEGO' signs, which has worked so far. Hope you don't have to pay to much for the rebuild. Dr. Brick
June 27, 200816 yr Well, at lest its frosting an not....punch! Oh, yes folks, I've people spill punch on my collection! It sticks the bricks together!

Hope you don't have to pay to much for the rebuild. Dr. Brick I was thinking: "Welcome to foggyville. notice there's no "Please violently disassemble things" in it. let's keep it that way".
June 27, 200816 yr A few years ago my sister's friend made my Falcon into "soup". I fell your pain man!
June 27, 200816 yr Author Well, i've got it (mostly) cleaned up by now. the frosting'd parts (the captain's area of the cargo ship, and 1 minifigure) are sitting in hot, soapy water as we speak.
June 28, 200816 yr Good job on those repairs! I think this is the first ever picture of your city I've scene.
June 28, 200816 yr I've had my younger cousins run amuck on the toys displayed on my shelves. It's not stuff being messed up that bothers me so much as when pieces go missing, which kids seem to be experts at making happen.
June 30, 200816 yr Gah I hate children that are undisciplined and disrespectful - my parents always taught me how to behave. Hopefully you find the patience to rebuild it; experience tells me it was likely turn out looking better than before. But frosting? That disgusting... worse thing I ever got on my lego was a half glass of coke, and at least that came off easily enough. Go and falcon-punch the children, and the parents too... Hopefully you'll rebuild it though Tom
June 30, 200816 yr Go and falcon-punch the children, and the parents too... WHOA, that sounds a little bit drastic, don'tcha think? They're just children, man. Hit them with the Blue Falcon.
July 1, 200816 yr I hate it when things like that happen. And frosting too? I hope that Foggyville makes a speedy recovery.
July 1, 200816 yr WHOA, that sounds a little bit drastic, don'tcha think? They're just children, man. Hit them with the Blue Falcon. Ok, perhaps a little drastic... My memory eludes me. What is the blue falcon? Too lazy to do a google search Tom
