meschepers, i bring great news to you! although not a Lego set, the infamous Baronsat made a set with your number in it...

it is the year it was sposed to be set in but regardless, you are the lucky one who gets a MOC as their set.

I have found that if indeed you return with out a set, try it backwards, more than likely it works so for the following i give good news...

http://peeron.com/inv/sets/2011-1

a bit better than a few small bricks

There is no set #863

368 however...

This is a great topic indeed! My member number is 2562. Unfortnately, there is no set which corresponds to that number. However, those numbers can be found in exactly the same sequence in set 4202562, which is the LEGO football. This is a nice coincidence since the European soccer championship 2008 is taking place in Austria and Switzerland, and I am Austrian!

2652, returns with...

My set is:

It pretty cool. NOT!

6522, may be a little cooler... high way patrol!!

6522-1.1147312882.thumb2.jpg

Alas, I do not correspond to a set.

and finally... 3272... is drum roll please... by far the coolest find...

enjoy your new found glory... and sorry to those that still miss out, but never fear the cat lover is on it :look:

Regards Cpt. PB

EDIT: Deinonychus, you by far have the most notable part i have found... a cannon!

Hmmm... apparently I'm a McDonald's promotional "Swamp Boat". I'm not sure how best to be insulted by this, but I know that I am :hmpf_bad:

GREAT topic! Lots of fun :classic: :classic: :classic:

EDIT:

What are the chances, in a bit, we could turn this into a poll? Who had the luckiest/coolest set, and who got stuck with the most ridiculous?

Hey, I remeber those promos! I had a few of them. I couln't resist free lego, even if I had to order a Happy Meal(I HATE Mcdonalds...) If this was a poll I would be lucky. Classic all the way!

I'm a temperature sensor

Ok, it's number 2980c01 instead of 2980 and not a set, but it's the closest (or the only one) I found. But one day nr. 2980 might be a great set (hopefully pirates  )
