April 25, 20231 yr I do have some extra parts which I’ll add it thanks for reminding but I got 0 extra complete sets :( but I have some are scattered as parts. Also, weirdly enough is that the cheapest Bricklink order is more expensive if I g et the bolide parts separately, so I’ll probably just get 2 Batmobiles

April 30, 20231 yr @EdwinSiu10 Aiii that sucks! That would be something to contact Lego Service about... Also happened to me a few times, though not recently, so I hoped they had improved the "shopping experience"...

Btw how many black beam frame 5x7 are must haves? Cuz it’s kinda expensive and I have some light bluish grey ones in my inventory (maybe I’ll replace the ones under the car and near invisible places.

May 3, 20231 yr @astyanax rn I’m in the final stages of ordering, did all the ones on PAB and some BL, only around 30 lots on BL left. However some parts (specifically 43093 black pin W/axle, 3L black pin, Pearl light grey with 2 axle hole, and the hoses) are quite expensive. I’ve checked the rebrickable for part replacements, but I don’t wanna ruin the looks. The black pins are unavoidable but what about the 41677 Pearl gray/hoses? Wanna know if 1. are the pearl gray 41677 pieces visible? 2. I’ve seen u meantioned this in the rebrickable post: ”BEWARE: the model requires cutting some (not all) of the rigid hoses shown in the inventory. All is explained in the instructions. Anyway, for the Red base model we need finally the following lengths:1x 26L in Gold1x 18L in Silver2x 16L (or 15L) in Gold2x 10.5L in Silver1x 7L in Silver3x 2L in any color (invisible)Furthermore we need 4x 3L ribbed hose. The Red base model uses a Purple 12L hose, to be cut. But of course you can use another color if you like.” I’m building the black model, just wanna know if the 3x2L cutted in any color is also invisible in the black one? If so, in the parts list, which one was it (uncut) thanks oh and I’ll probably buy the instructions around the next couple of days

Usage of all 3 of 41677 and all 2 of 33299a can be seen here: I used Pearl Light Gray (PLG) because it fits best with the Metallic Silver (MS) of the pipes, but the latter color offers too few connector types to achieve the last upward section of the exhausts, hence the usage of a few PLG parts. A cheaper option would be to have the exhausts entirely in Light Bluish Gray. 44 minutes ago, EdwinSiu10 said: I’m building the black model, just wanna know if the 3x2L cutted in any color is also invisible in the black one? Although I’m not a fan of off brand legos but I’ll check it out anyways. The other parts are fine except the wheels are very expensive but I guess there’s not much of a choice (3D printer at home isn’t working as well :( so I might just buy them) Hope this doesn’t bother you but this should probably the the final “is this invisible” question 😂. You said 72008 can be replaced with red, does that also apply for the black model? (And where does it appear in?) thank you very much for all the help

I didn’t use the lambo for parts, as it would be out of my budget. Ive managed to keep everything under the price of the lambo (as for now only, cuz I have one more BL order needed). sadly the wheels would cost 1/10 of the price of a retail lambo which I assume is inevitable... with that said, time to get back to checking each store and come up with the cheapest plan to get the remaining 20 different items. (Bricklink auto buy function directs me to buy them from 10+ stores which will result in an unbearable shipping cost.) this will probably take another day but if it saves money I’ll do it (from my previous experiences it does save)
May 3, 20231 yr My word... that's amazing. I can hold my own when it comes to building with system, but as soon as you introduce technique I fall apart. I genuinely don't know how you do it, I struggled enough designing the folding wing mechanism in the Lambda from my profile picture! That Pagani is a masterpiece, you should be proud of it!!
May 5, 20231 yr I’m now working on the design of the info panel (like the sp3 one). And I’ll upload it when it’s done. Anyone here know what the font for the ferrari/bmw motorcycle panel is? https://ibb.co/P9jqhqNhttps://ibb.co/6WmQYL7
May 5, 20231 yr @astyanax is this model the Huayra BC or the Huayra Roadster BC or none of the above? Because I would like to know the actual model name for the display panel.
May 5, 20231 yr A roadster is open or convertible, and couldn't have gull-wing doors. So this model is definitely not a roadster. Most bodywork details are modeled after the Huayra BC. But even then, no 2 Huayras ever seem the same. Each car is made with details according to the buyer's wishes -- well, they're paying millions anyway! So we took details that we liked from different photos of different cars. And of course every builder is welcome -- even encouraged -- to customize the model even further to their own tastes!

I must have had a “brain malfunction” lmao yes roadsters will not have gull doors and a roof. And I’ll definitely customize it more as it’s my favourite part of building technic cars. If u missed the post above, the reason I asked if it’s a BC is because I am working on this display panel, similar to the sp3 one, which I wanted a more accurate title so asked. But I understand what u meant, so I’ll just put huayra BC then. Here’s the progress if u want to have a look and I would appreciate if you could give some feedback on what to change/improve there. May 6, 20231 yr First of all, a big thank you to @langko for deciding to share his Pagani Huayra BC with us. You have got to appreciate @langko‘s craftsmanship, the Huayra chassis is rigid, superb modular build - an absolute work of art. Also thanks to @astyanax for his clear instructions, notes and the helper parts, top notch. Customisation is mentioned in the introduction in the instructions and becomes it’s own rabbit hole when you start looking through Huayra photographs - every car is different. The build process of any custom Lego project includes the chase for parts and the Pagani Huayra BC was a biggie. All in there was 34 Bricklink orders (four from Australia), four complete discounted Lego sets purchased and this was on top of a good stash of parts from the home warehouse! What contributed to so many orders was obviously the range of parts, but there was also quite a few older colours too. I used the Rebrickable inventory and exported that to Bricklink and created a Wanted List and deleting all the existing parts I had. Using the Wanted List with my usual ‘go to’ Bricklink sellers I was able to compile most parts. Just two items remain on the Wanted List, work arounds currently in place and can be easily switched out down the track. I have made a few minor changes along the way - first up was adding the subtle Italian ‘Tri-Colour’ slopes to the top of front guards. Glow-in-the-dark Bionicles and Bars are fitted. The Red 3 x 11 Curved Panels were the most expensive parts, the Pearl Gold Round Plates were also expensive and Round Tiles with hole weren’t available in New Zealand. There are a few printed Pagani round tiles on order for wheels and top of HOG. A new registration plate will grace the Huayra once it arrives too. The suspension and engine cover are the areas that I customised the most. Yellow Thin Quarters and Technic Steering Arm feature the rear. Originally ordered Red 9L Shocks and then decided to run with Blue instead - more contrast and while not a yellow spring an Ohlins inspired shock with piggy-back gas reservoir. The exhaust is a work of art - love the use of the Purple 7mm Hoses. The Pearl Grey parts I got for the exhaust didn’t match well. I don’t usually buy used parts, I ended up using Dark Bluish Grey and that looks good. I’m thinking about doing the whole exhaust in Metallic Aluminium from Chrome Block City. I found a Huayra for sale on Collecting Cars with a lot of engine shots - I used these to re-build a few engine covers, currently version 3.0 is in place. The engine covers range from quite plain to a major pieces of sculpture. The air intake side pods have the AMG logo on them, I wanted to include these too. I tried to source some 75877 Mercedes AMG GT3 stickers, but these were like $32.00 in NZ!! Ended up getting a couple of Curved Slopes with the AMG logo printed on them for the side pods, that worked out as a better solution for $0.37 from the 76909 Mercedes AMG Project One car. The four pieces of luggage with cash and gold ingots are a nice touch. I have replaced one of the door springs with a stronger Red Shock (will do the other too), it keeps the doors up better when opening up the rear clam-shell. The Pagani Huayra BC on full display. The front axle lift is a nice feature and works well, this is where the helper parts help do their job! Using the steering HOG to activate the front and rear flaps is also smooth in its operation. I’m almost tempted to do another in a combination of Black and Dark Bluish Grey using some of the new parts in the Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar, maybe later in the year…. Looking forward to seeing some of the other Huayra BCs as they progress. Edited May 6, 20231 yr by LegoHoops Text

I know its quite a mission to source everything required, but seeing people do it makes it worth the sharing of the instructions. I can't take all the credit for the final design either, @astyanax definitely had a lot of input with the chassis of this version. The result is something that is more modular whilst having very similar levels of strength to the original chassis. It is indeed quite the rabbit hole when you start looking at all the different versions, but it makes it fun to design because there's more flexibility and things don't have to be exactly a certain way. I love all the extra details you added in the engine bay, (some very clever part usage there) looks great I actually have a red one in the works atm (will be done whenever the pick a brick order gets here). I appreciate the write up and the photos

Idk did you do it, but do minimize the amount of orders on bricklink, you can use Lego’s Pick a brick as it has some newer/rare parts. The suspension customizations are pretty good, and going chrome would top it off imo. About the printed Pagani tiles, could you drop its number or set its in? I couldn’t find it online. The amg logo is a very good idea, and executed well! I’m still deciding wether 75877 or the 76909 one fits more (but first I’ll have to do is to find one cheap) For now I’m not sure what to comment on the change of using hard springs cuz my parts haven’t arrived yet but for now they look Ike a fine modification. 4 hours ago, astyanax said: The plaque looks very nice!
