grab_a_beer_and_build_lego Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Okay, looks like I've managed importing those parts manually - I just wasn't aware that sub-parts are supposed to be in sub-directory before starting Stud.io Thank you! Quote
aFrInaTi0n Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 (edited) @grab_a_beer_and_build_lego Thanks for the bug report - as LDraw changed an URL, my tool wasn't pulling in the latest versions on a daily basis! So huge thanks, otherwise I would not directly have recognized this!!! As a reward here is your requested zip package link: https://www.reum.it/ldraw-to-studio-exporter/index.php?part=48156p01.dat Merry Christmas :) Edited December 14, 2023 by aFrInaTi0n Quote
aFrInaTi0n Posted July 9, 2024 Author Posted July 9, 2024 Update for my tool: It is considered DEPRECATED as the ldraw site has implemented a functionality to download complete .zip files with all needed subparts / assemblies. Quote

aFrInaTi0n Posted July 9, 2024 Author Posted July 9, 2024 (edited) Gave them my implementation but it is that easy to program - those are talented people and I guess they found their own implementation. So I am more than happy for them having the functionality included on their page than I would be mad about it - less maintenance for me Edit: Fun fact: lately before LDraw released their functionality, more and more Facebook users recommended it to other users - so it was a nice feeling of the tool being "good enough" to be recommended.
