December 18, 20222 yr I added thegbrix's headlight mod from ReBrickable since his modded area above the headlights match that of the real SP3. The issue is, they're very flimsy. I have tried finding a way to reinforce the assembly so panels won't move, but I couldn't. Any advice would be appreciated. Edited December 18, 20222 yr by StudWorks

Am I the only one who thinks those black "fins" in the front, are way too far out by default? I think they should be half a stud, if not 1 stud more inwards. Especially if you do a headlight mod, they become even bigger Edited December 22, 20222 yr by KKO

January 10, 20232 yr I wanted to ask you; how did you do the silver finish? did you use a sharpie, or before painting the wheels, did you cover the spokes with paper tape? On 6/19/2022 at 11:58 AM, Polarlicht said: Edited January 10, 20232 yr by Nick00
January 10, 20232 yr No, but you could use like a paint-pen. I used regular black spray paint and silver Revell color on a tooth pick. No tape.

February 13, 20232 yr Did no-one yet realize that fits seamlessly to round off the front? Also, can replace the black Bionicle tooth in the headlight, as shown above. A glow-in-the-dark tooth fits perfectly above it, if you like an angry nighttime look.

Is there a way to use some black parts to hide the gap in each side of the bonnet? I know they are supposed to be holes but they show color vomit parts under it, so maybe place some black parts under the holes but still as part of the bonnet assembly

March 2, 20231 yr I guess the first is more accurate -- I just proposed the second to get a mean look in the dark, if the tooth is glow-in-the-dark. I'd prefer the second for that reason alone...

I'd prefer the second for that reason alone... Yeah, I used a clear tooth cause I'm planning to add lights. But I think I'll keep the first version. I've also updated the side mirrors, saw this on some Cada car I think. Don't have a #3 connector in black yet, but I'd also like to try with a #4, which I also don't have, to see how it looks.
March 2, 20231 yr I'd build my side mirrors like this: By using a click hinge we can transition to a plate , from where we arrive in System-land, such we can build the mirror thin and elegantly (IMO)... I also changes a bit the connection to the wheel arch, such that only black is on top. For reference: Spoiler

Received a the Bugatti 42151 for parts, so was able to put @astyanax mod in place. It significantly strengthens the front end too, I can now pick it up without dislodging the slopes on mine. In the original build you have to replace the 13 beam in front with a 11 beam, otherwise the new part has no room to be placed.
