Cerco una facile modifica per abbassare l'asse posteriore..

I added thegbrix's headlight mod from ReBrickable since his modded area above the headlights match that of the real SP3.

The issue is, they're very flimsy. I have tried finding a way to reinforce the assembly so panels won't move, but I couldn't. Any advice would be appreciated.

Am I the only one who thinks those black "fins" in the front, are way too far out by default? I think they should be half a stud, if not 1 stud more inwards. Especially if you do a headlight mod, they become even bigger

Also the Bionicle tooth can now be replaced by that new 3x2x1 panel from Bugatti Bolide (42151)?

I wanted to ask you; how did you do the silver finish? did you use a sharpie,
or before painting the wheels, did you cover the spokes with paper tape?

No, but you could use like a paint-pen.

I used regular black spray paint and silver Revell color on a tooth pick. No tape.

@Buzzfox The Connector & Bionicle are mounted on a 3L Pin.

Addition Red Bionicle mounted in the horizontal plane too.

Registration Plate Update.

Thank you very much on the instructions for the front bumper, it looks awesome.

I'd like to see more about the engine mods

Did no-one yet realize that 85x85p.jpg?1672581240.407483 fits seamlessly to round off the front?

800x467.png

Also, 85x85p.jpg?1672581240.4394836 can replace the black Bionicle tooth in the headlight, as shown above. A glow-in-the-dark tooth fits perfectly above it, if you like an angry nighttime look.

Is there a way to use some black parts to hide the gap in each side of the bonnet? I know they are supposed to be holes but they show color vomit parts under it, so maybe place some black parts under the holes but still as part of the bonnet assembly

I did what LegoHoops suggested here without any issues

the new panel looks much better than the bionicle tooth, and these headlights are superb!!

I tried both options, not sure which one I like better

800x773.jpg

1280x1214.jpg

I guess the first is more accurate -- I just proposed the second to get a mean look in the dark, if the tooth is glow-in-the-dark. I'd prefer the second for that reason alone... :snicker:

Yeah, I used a clear tooth cause I'm planning to add lights. But I think I'll keep the first version.

I've also updated the side mirrors, saw this on some Cada car I think. Don't have a #3 connector in black yet, but I'd also like to try with a #4, which I also don't have, to see how it looks.

20230302_145429.jpg

I'd build my side mirrors like this:

640x606.png

640x664.png

By using a click hinge 85x85p.jpg?1658326063.039821 we can transition to a plate 85x85p.jpg?1658326031.367818, from where we arrive in System-land, such we can build the mirror thin and elegantly (IMO)...

I also changes a bit the connection to the wheel arch, such that only black is on top. For reference:

Received a the Bugatti 42151 for parts, so was able to put @astyanax mod in place.
It significantly strengthens the front end too, I can now pick it up without dislodging the slopes on mine.

In the original build you have to replace the 13 beam in front  with a 11 beam, otherwise the new part has no room to be placed.

Correct. You can see the 11L beam in the render you quoted as well. :pir-sweet:

The bottom set of Slopes are then slid back on the studs to sloping set of Slopes

Some alternative ideas for the front splitter & grille... Not sure if it improves things, but just putting it out there... :drunk:
