This is quite an impressive suite of alterations, although I personally think the lower-profile cockpit helps this set the most. The original almost looked like a vertically-stretched image of a Delta 7, which was a turn off for me.

Great work by @mcphatty! Modified the front of the Starfighter to make it "pointy", by removing the "pointy tail" and reinstating the cockpit to flip up and down.

 Thanks for sharing. I was so inspired by your creativity that I used your instructions to redo Anakin's 75214, Saesee Tiin's 9498 and 7868 Mace Windu's. Of course my are Delta 7B's. Always preferred that model. Deciding on whether or not to take the ultimate plunge and modify 75087 Anakin's Custom Starfighter. What's your thoughts. Thanks again.
