posades Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 It's because none of us are "friends" on Facebook, and it is doing the right thing and protecting The Who's privacy and not showing us his images. Facebook needs to do a better job. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Facebook needs to do a better job. Nice one. Quote
banditloon Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Me doing some work at Brands Hatch during a British Superbike Meeting. & objecting to working on a Motocross track Usual clothing for a summers day on an MX track Quote
Tereglith Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 The one good picture that has been taken of me since age ten. I took it myself on my webcam. Go figure. If anyone asks you, you can now say that you've seen the palest person to live in Florida. Quote
The Who Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Facebook needs to do a better job. Thanks posades. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Facebook needs to do a better job. Hey, I never said I'd entrust any personal details in Facebook. Quote
def Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 My last pic on this thread was fairly unflattering. Don't know why I posted it Here's a little more handsome pic of myself, clean-shaven, and pants-free to boot. You lucky folks, you never knew you'd get to see a pants-free Eurobricks member, did you... (The lovely lady is my daughter, An-Chan) Yes, folks, this is def. Quote
Ratshot Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 That picture of you Def is so Canadian, don't know why I thought that but I did Quote
JCC1004 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is Lego in that box your holding? You just can't post a normal pic can you? You must embarrass yourself. I was thinking that this topic might be better if only member could view it. I wouldn't want others to be looking at pics of my family and me. Quote

[/b][/color] Some forums do that, but I don't think it's needed here. The opinions here never get racy, so I'm at no risk of being fired over my participation here. Def is so Canadian, I gotta be me Quote

The opinions here never get racy, so I'm at no risk of being fired over my participation here. I don't think EB is going to be targeted since only Lego lovers will visit this site. I'm not thinking about jobs at risk unless your a secret service agent or something that secretive. I don't believe anyone is out to get me but I was just thinking about some people who might not want to be seen by who knows who. But look at things like Facebook and Myspace. Quote
Ratshot Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I'm not thinking about jobs at risk unless your a secret service agent or something that secretive I doubt a Secret Service Agent would pose for a pic wearing no pants and holding a baby and a mail package Quote

That wasn't a particularly suggestive shot... Maybe you're seeing something more sinister than me As for Canada, there are some things I like about it (food, friends) but lots I don't like. I'm not that attached to Canadian (or American) culture. Where I am now, winter's been over for a week or so, and there's never snow. I've traveled around Asia cheaply. I get to learn and use a new language daily. The teenagers don't scare me. I can enjoy all the TV and shopping I like on the Internet. It's easier to live healthier... It's mostly just my friends and family that I miss in Canada, but my lifestyle is much, much better here. Quote

Interesting, I agree with you that Canada has changed drastically in the past 20 years....for the worse I'm afraid Quote
