Scaled 2312 ASD Tug Models in scale 1:90

Dear friends,

I did a commisionned project again for Damen Shipyard and was given away to their clients Boluda Towage at the Maritime Gala Awards 2022 in Paris last week.

Even i don't like the sice of this small scale, the outcome is quit nice.

The 2312 ASD Tug is a strange ship and very short in lenght to the width and have a one, dubble drum winch inside the superstructure and in the model are many funy manual working functions.

I’ve only just this minute used the word perfect in a previous post and now find myself using it again.

These little gems are perfect. You’ve done a terrific job Edwin, especially so given their scale. Great work my Friend

Really cool, I live all the details . I think it is a nice scale, almost mini fig probably? It must have been a lot of work, with all the personalised stickers for name, port name and registration nr. 

This is really special to receive as gift from Damen, really original and exclusive!

Now going to look again to find those manual functions!

Minifig scale is 1:40 ~ 1:45. This is half the scale.

@Maaboo35 great to see that you understand my and your joke about the scale. 

I got hundreds of pictures off the real one and use for here the promo sheet from Damen that small isn't bad.

For Lego i hate to build in this scale and like more the scale 1:40, but i am not the client and have to build what the client wanted and hope that the next project will be in the right scale

Found these:

• Cable to lift the cylinder for the daytime signal (white-black-yellow-black-white)
• Door in the freeboard for embarkation and disembarkation
• Working dubble drum
• Ability to host a very large plastic guy 

Not sure if these are all the manual functions...

Hmm, that is definitely not the same model and looks to have much fewer parts and attention to detail. Would be interested to know more about it though.

Yes, that seem to be a model made by Edwin Korstanje, to Damen Shipyard. But it is older than the one posted here and a different ship. turbocarl69.
