Rijkvv Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Not exactly a set. But I have the Collector not a year and it's already outdated. So I would like to see a ring binder collector (I hope I translate it correct). Size of the papers maybe A3. It's easy to extend it with yearly updates, and it's also possible to edit older sets (for example if there is not yet a picture added). It could be cheap and there is at least one potential buyer.
Tom Bricks Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I would like an Atlantis theme. It would use the new mermaid parts and would include the next line of divers. Because the divers and the mermaids would need something to fight their enemy could be some sort of diver villain who controls sharks that attack the divers and merpeople. Possible sets could be the villian's hideout in a sunken boat, a village of merpeople, and the usual diver submarines.
Captain Green Hair Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I'd like to see TLC continue on the Emerald night with an old trainstation, watertower, roundhouse, more seperate coaches and what not. I just stuff from the days gone.
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) I'd like to see TLC continue on the Emerald night with an old trainstation, watertower, roundhouse, more seperate coaches and what not.I just stuff from the days gone. I totally agree with you, Captain Green Hair! An old train station (similar to the yellow one from 1990?) and a roundhouse would be absolutely awesome! :oh: And in general more additional train stuff is needed - there have to be locations where the passengers are attended and locations where the trains are loaded and maintained! To avoid double-posting: Here are a lot of awesome ideas for new Wild West sets! Thanks. Klaus-Dieter Edited July 6, 2009 by Klaus-Dieter
Mission Commander Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 (edited) An Aliens theme would be awsome for me. Also a Metroid theme. (crosses fingers) Edited July 26, 2009 by Mission Commander
CDC Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I would like to see Indiana Jones impulse set ? Maybe with a soldier, i just love those. But i guess it wont happen. Or maybe star wars impulse but hmm we already have those battle packs so that wouldnt be that cool or ? Anyways i'm hoping for more impulses ! Doesnt matter which theme is it from
Glacarcheo Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 A Zoo subtheme for city would be very cool. I would like if they made a real zoo. Crossing mah fingas for a San Diego Zoo! Also a Chinese theme would be fantastic. Some sets I would like to see are a PowerMiners HQ, and a modular Castle.
blueandwhite Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 After considerable thought, I started to wonder why LEGO doesn't produce a basic brick set in more muted colours. We've certainly had our share of sets in vibrant hues like this: What about producing a similar set (or series of sets) in tans, greys, and the sand or dark colour varriants. These colours are hugely popular amongst AFOLs. I've wondered if there was a cost issue (do these colours cost more to manufacture) or whether LEGO is concerned that the production of these colours will reduce demand for sets elsewhere. I certainly would be willing to back a basic block set that included tans/browns/greys/sand or dark colours. I imagine I'm not the only one.
jonwil Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I suspect the answer is that kids wouldn't like the muted tones as much as the bright colors.
HumanPackMule Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I suspect the answer is that kids wouldn't like the muted tones as much as the bright colors. But the AFOL community would more than make up for it
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Give me Romans, or give me... Greeks might work well enough
blueandwhite Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 But the AFOL community would more than make up for it Definitely ! As much as people like requesting specific "me only" products or lines, something like a basic set caters to a range of builders across themes.

Except I was thinking more of the good guys would be mer-people they would be shiny and pretty and then the bad-guys would like green swamp monster type figures with giant bio vehicles and their HQ would be a hive of some sort that would be a great theme I'd buy nearly every set if it was done right.

I would love to see this as well as a set that has basic building pieces like 1 x 8, 1 x 4, 1 x 6, etc. Also some windows and long tiles included would be great. On another note, I would like to see TLG produce some City type buildings like a Post Office that would be big enough to recieve bulk mail deliveries, a School, (so I can rebuild my creator one into a town house!) a newly designed Hospital, maybe a Council Depot (so I have a place to park all my construction vehicles) and a Bus Terminal, so you can integrate out-of-town buses, or trains, with the local bus and taxi service. Some modular sets like just the bus stand from City Corner would be nice, so you could repeat this around your City. This would give the bus somewhere to go too!! Finally, a Taxi and simple Taxi Stand would make a great and affordable set, sort of like the sports car set meets the above mentioned bus stop.
Rijkvv Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Here another one. Not only bricks, do include tiles and plates and it will be a success, I think. Another thing I would like to see are more sculptures. Model Team was a huge success, as were the sculptures. And with the License themes there are a lot of possible sculptures. I would love to see sculptures of the hyena from the Lion King for example.
Oky Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 What about producing a similar set (or series of sets) in tans, greys, and the sand or dark colour varriants. Isn't that what the Indy 4 sets and some of the latest SW sets are? I agree, though. Preferably, this should be a steampunk theme with a few silver pieces included as well.
Raven Brickroft Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 How about something like this but in medieval/castle parts? They could be used in both Pirates and Castle builders. Or something like this in carriage wheels of different sizes? It may even include those large siege weapon wheels.
Rijkvv Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 That sounds like a great idea! Maybe the following sets: -Carriage wheels in all sizes; -Castle-style doors and windows; -Train wheels in all sizes, maybe also couplings; -Train doors and windows.
prateek Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 What? We need to make sure we get SPIII in 2010
Mraz Skintas Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Some sets with large, futuristic, minifig scale buildings. Or even the Architect line being advanced would work fine with me.
paanjang16 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I wish Lego would come out a power function box set with:- IR Remote IR receiver XL motor Medium motor Wires battery pack some wiring and gears enough to motorized any creator/city/space/technic/power miners set. I am sure ppl will buy 2-3 sets just to fully motorized the 8880, 8448 or even the latest 8258.
muffinman42 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 i want more light colours for PFs since the cold blue light that the light makes isnt very usefull. or covers that change the colour. a shorter version of the extension wire for changeing between the old system and PF without haveing to find somewhere in the model to stick all the extra wire.
