Darth_Legois Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 (edited) A Modern Military theme with non anime heads. The Soldiers should all have packs and rank insignias. Acurate weapons and special designations (sniper, EOD, ect) That would be really cool. I would definately buy them all. So please LEGO. DUDE WTH!? Seriously I cant take this anymore!!! It has been decided NO MILITARY LEGO SETS! TLC Its a Family-Friendly company sheesh. And please dont start the whole "Well SW has violence ect.." But its diffrent! And I have a whole thread of proof against it. DUDE if you want accurate weapons get Brickarms! and if you want your precious Halo get some space marine armour at BrickForge! And Brickarms has Halo weapons too! And guess what? Brickarms also has army mini-figs for sale too! Im beggining to feel ashamed to be a TFOL I used to wear that TFOL sig I made with pride now im ashamed to see what TFOLs are like. Please stop this bull-crap! I have no Idea how the mods/admins can take all this crap! Sorry im just REALY annoyed at people asking for the SAME THING over and over again! Edited September 24, 2008 by Darth_Legois
Shoc Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Sorry im just REALY annoyed at people asking for the SAME THING over and over again! [/color] I share your feelings. I know maybe a lot of people might not know the non-military and child-friendly rules, but it does make sense that they do. I think a good thing about Lego which sets it apart from other toy companies is that it doesn't produce real life based military sets, or promote that kind of thing. If you want military sets, you will not get them, but there are enough of the right pieces for you to be able to make your own military MOC's, unlike some other themes that just can't be easily made because of not enough of the right parts. Also we have enough types of Lego guns, Lego is hardly realistic so why have realistic guns? :skull:
Guss Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 what sets would I like ? I saw the news pirates theme and I'm really happy that they put it back , but I only saw one boat on the pictures ? I want more pirates boats! ^^

I think people like this are just hoping to get them and wont listen even if theres a whole friken topic about it http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...t=0&start=0 And theres even BrickArms! And his precious halo figs ect.. on brickforge! And army mini-figs on BrickArms too! Why cant people just order there and stop whinging to TLC! Aggghhh it drives me crazy!
castlestrike666 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 (edited) Other Brand ThemesLord of the Rings — This one's a no-brainer; it's the only movie brand that has as much widespread appeal among children and adults of all ages as Star Wars and Indiana Jones, including the lucrative demographic of guys who like owning movie toys and merchandise. Like with Batman, a LOTR theme could be based on the books as well as the movies. Possibly the only fantasy brand with more fans than Harry Potter I agree with the idea of a new Lotr Themed line! It'd be great for all castle fans, but also for every other builder, aged 1 - ....... New faction: Elves, maybe a new type of orcs, hobbits, black riders with their flying "beasties" (and dwarves alreadly exist), the "ninjas" with their elephaunts (Lots of people would be happy with ninjas and elephants again!), riders of Rohan Major people: the fellowshop (9) & the uruk-hai "leader" Buildings: Some of "The Shire" buildings, The Eye of Sauron, Rivendell Building, etc etc And instead of the new pirate line, they'd maybe better came up with the "Pirates of the Carribean" theme? The pirates can also be used there. Then the "Black Pearl" and other ships could be created for this! Edited September 27, 2008 by castlestrike666
Mr. Crimson Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Hello, I am new to Eurobricks. Methinks that an 'Ancient Civilization line might work. I think LOTR sounds like a great idea! Although I think the Hobbit may have more material for smaller sets (10$-30$) I also think that Lego should bring back the Ninjas line. It was one of the best themes of 1999 and one of my all time favorites. Although right now I am quite happy with the rumored Pirate line. Steampunk is another great theme. It is a growing fad, and I think there could be a wide range of great, playable sets. If any body has seen the japanese movie Steamboy, I think some of the inventions from that would make great sets. I like that Jules Verne idea, too. His books are legendary. And Halo? Remember, lego is a family friendly company!

castlestrike666 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Methinks that an 'Ancient Civilization line might work. Indeed that's also a great idea!! For instance the Egyptians, the Huns, the Roman, (Vikings do already exist ), new "Samurai" line, .... Especially the Romans & Egyptians are worth thinking about I think! Would sell fast!
Klonoa Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I'd really like a Steampunk theme. It would be a good theme just because Steampunk is so cool. The only problem is it would be mostly brown so it wouldn't really appeal to kids, but still... it would be way awesome. Also, I too would like to add that I would like the ninja theme brought back. It would be something both kids and adults could enjoy. Hopefully though, it would be in a traditional ninja style like before instead of all bright and anime and stuff like Naruto. Still, better bright and anime and stuff than not at all. As for licensed themes, anything Nintendo related, like Mario, or Zelda, or Pokemon would be cool, though I don't see it being too practical. Or maybe Mega Man. After all, a lot of Mega Man stuff is based off of LEGOs (take Servebots for example).

Oh and the pirate line isant a rumour, its confirmed, checkout the pirate forum And those are some nice ideas too Steampunk would be cool..... Isn't this a what would you like to see thread. Thats something I would like to see. If you don't, keep it to yourself, sheesh. Look I would keep to myself if this was the first time, but its not! You have made a WHOLE THREAD about it and 99% said no aint gona happen, Its too violent, more so than SW When people get chopped by a lightsabre it leaves a mark not a pool of blood like in halo when you get killed and youve made several posts in this thread even after you made your own topic! Look im just want to know "Why!?" Why do you keep posting them? Its not logical it just doesnt make sense! Sorry if this is offensive but your acting childish [i know I still do.. ] Sorry for "mini-moding" I just dont get what the hell the point is of all these posts even after everyone has said no......
Justin2224 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I made a thread on HALO, not modern military. Sorry, but I would really like to see these themes.
Darth_Legois Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I made a thread on HALO, not modern military. Sorry, but I would really like to see these themes. Sorry but Its not gonna happen. So awnser my question... Why? and saying "Well I realy want to see these themes I dont even care if everyone even mods/admins say it aint gonna happen so I will just keep asking.." That is not very smart. And its been awnserd HEAPS of times no TLC WILL NOT do Military themes, its a family based company sheesh!
Mr. Crimson Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Oh and the pirate line isant a rumour, its confirmed, checkout the pirate forum It has? Well, that shows how much ive been online since this summer! Good then! I shall build up my armada when it debuts!

Maybe civilian aircraft? Like civilian choppers, planes ect... That would be cool If they did make it, it would probable go under the City theme or The Transportation sub-theme in City, Not a whole new theme
UsernameMDM Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I'd like to see a pulp/steampunk combo (probably not going to happen with Indiana Jones around) and more ethnic castle series (Middle Eastern, Chinese, Indo-Persian, etc). As an extension of the Pirates line or a totally separate line, I would like to see something covering the US Colonial era.
Ulrich Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Oh, i've got several. 1. Code Lyoko. A French Animated series that is highly popular, especially in France. If done well, these could be fantastic and great sellers. Several things in the show look like they can be Lego-ized, like the old table umbrella piece can be used at the side of the elevator in Sector 5. Kankrelots could use newly-colored Toa Inika heads. Krabes can use either Red Kopaka Phantoka blades or Mahritoran blades. So many possibilities for good sets. The vehicles the Lyoko Warriors use can be easily converted into Lego. It's aired in more than 160 COUNTRIES. I don't even think Spongebob is aired in that many- What does this tell you? It's begging to be LEGO. 2.Oban Star-Racers. A animated series that's made by the French and the Japanese. While not being made currently, it would still, regardless, be a great theme. It'd be somewhat like Racers, only without wheels. It'd be great. 3.BRING BACK ALPHA TEAM AND EXO-FORCE KTHNX 4.I'd like some sort of wacky, really random theme, with Ninjas and Pie and a whole bunch of stuff that's just, well, random, with tons of interesting features, like trap doors and exploding walls. 5.Invader Zim, enough said. If It can have MINTS and AN ENERGY DRINK, I think it can have a LEGO theme. -Rho-
Darth_Legois Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) *Looks at post above* OH GOD WHEN WILL THEY STOP!?! Umm ok this has been said ALOT of times, it even had its own thread. [but it got deleted to clean up the embasy] Code lyoko wont happen. And my whole thread of reasons vanished.... Also its not that popular...compared to ANY other LEGO theme..... So just because its aired in 160 countries doesnt make it popular, And it certainly doesnt mean LEGO will do it.. The day they make another Znap theme is the day code lyoko will be made, Nuff said Also Exo-force didnt sell well enough in 2007 Also Agents has replaced alpha team And no they wont make a random pie & ninja theme Edited October 1, 2008 by Darth_Legois

Darth_Legois Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Look im in a bad mood , I should really just stick to topics I know wont get me annoyed [Hardly anysleep the last few days ] Ok I agree I shouldnt have gotten mad I thought they still had the code lyoko thread somewhere but its gone [when they cleaned up the embassy] [You should [not just you] search before you ask something especially in this thread] But seriously your reasons for it being made into LEGO just dont seem "good enough" IMO. And there was a whole thread about it and the only good thing would be new hair pieces...thats what everyone said And its no-where near as popular as other shows, everyone has heard of spongebob but ask any other AFOL and they will have no clue. And its not exactly something I see TLC doing... Sorry Mods for "mini-modding"

And its not exactly something I see TLC doing... Sorry Mods for "mini-modding" If you're in a bad mood, stay off of the internet. I could go on for quite some time as to how it could work. New hair pieces wouldn't be the only good thing, but the Weapons, monsters, etc. It's WAY more popular than Avatar, and that got a LEGO theme, no matter how short it lasted. It's more popular in France than it is in England or Australia. They sell LEGO in France. LEGO Code Lyoko would sell like effin' hotcakes there. Plus, next year they have a fifth Season and three 70min Direct-to-DVD movies coming, so it'd be a good time to make the theme
Darth_Legois Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Atleast avatar was half decent, Its more popular then code lycrapo Oh so its popular in 1 country, WOW now the TLC WILL do it! Also one time I saw some code lyoko action figures on a shelf, so I hid a SW action figure behind it..several months later wow its still there, I guess no one likes code lycrapo here. And I dont think its too popular in the U.S. either.

And I dont think its too popular in the U.S. either. Listen buddy, I'm being pretty effin' calm right now. If you want me to turn into the agressive, pissed off Italian, I will. Have you ever even watched it? Probably not. I never said it was only popular in ONE country, idiot. I said it is MOST POPULAR in France. Actually take the time to not be ignorant and READ next time, mmkay? Action Figures =/= Lego. Learn the difference. Those are two different products. And that sounds incredibly fake, as they would have done inventory by then and put it back in it's proper place, plus, I'm sure they have someone make sure the shelves are in order. There's the flaw in your story, now goodbye. You don't live in America, therefore what you think is wrong. You just lost the game, bye
Darth_Legois Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) Umm yes Ive watched it, I would rather put my eyes in a blender then watch code lyocrap again Some school kids find some "super computer" in the basement and travel to a virtual world and fight some system... Then travel back in time and alter the future.. The point is I REALY dont see TLC doing something like this, Why make LEGO for a show? Then they will be watching Tv and not playing with LEGO And that story IS true Either way its true I dont care what you claim you wherent there you wouldnt know. Pleas can someone else explain to him why TLC wont make it....someone that posted in that codelycrapo thread... Edited October 1, 2008 by Darth_Legois
