Phyre Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Hello, Eurobricks community! You may have seen me occasionally posting in the historic themes forum or collectible minifigures topics. I am in the process of getting a LEGO-focused youtube channel going, and I was wondering what, if any, rules there were about promoting it on this site. The main questions I have are: 1. Am I allowed to put a link to my youtube channel in my signature? 2. Is posting set review topics where the body of the review just includes a link to a youtube video (with maybe some brief background/overview information of the set, but no pictures or extended descriptions) acceptable or frowned upon? Also, for any already established youtubers or people in the know, do you have any recommendations for other places I can promote my channel (other forums, social media groups, etc.)? Any help or answers are greatly appreciated! Edited July 7, 2022 by Phyre Quote

This is fine, a small graphic or link is acceptable in your signature. Just don't put a huge graphic or actual video in there 7 hours ago, Phyre said: Is posting set review topics where the body of the review just includes a link to a youtube video (with maybe some brief background/overview information of the set, but no pictures or extended descriptions) acceptable or frowned upon? That is not something we generally like posted here since this is a discussion forum. The Pirates forum has slightly different views/rules on it though, so if it is a LEGO Pirate set you should reach out to a Pirate Moderator before posting. The Culture & Multimedia forum would be an appropriate place to post video reviews too, just don't post them all at once (spamming). Good luck on your channel, hope it does well! Quote
BryanLarry Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 (edited) It's great to hear that you're starting a LEGO-focused YouTube channel! As for promoting it on Eurobricks, here's some info: You can check the site's rules or contact the moderators to see if it's allowed to include a link to your YouTube channel in your signature. Rules can vary, so it's best to clarify. Posting set review topics with a link to your YouTube video is generally acceptable, but it's a good idea to provide some brief background or overview information about the set to add value for the community. And if you're looking to boost your YouTube views, you can explore options like getting LINK REMOVED from reputable sources. Best of luck with your YouTube channel!
