A lot to like here and some interesting parts use (as normal for an Evancelt build!). The use of the projectile shooters as the waterline on the cliffs might just be the best unconventional part use in a landscape that I have seen in a long while. I also second Ross' comment about the basalt columns - those are beautiful. Licensed for the faction with thanks!

Ohhh what a great use of envelopes for windows. :pir-thumb:

Fantastic build :pir-love:

Thanks!

Here are some process shots showing how the envelopes are used in the window. I picked up a few dozen of those tiles on the PAB wall recently

Those basalt columns! Oh my god I love them. Really wanna make an entire landscape of them at some point.

Yeah they are fun! I saw you had experimented with them in the past. They end up taking a lot of cheese slopes!

Thanks! Here is a process shot of the waterline across the whole build before I added the base and dock. The core of the landmass is made out of Duplo, of course

ooh, I like this a lot! Not identical to many of the Corrish builds we see, but definitely fits with them. It shows the differences among locations across the Empire.

Good texture in the building front, and I really like those pentagonal shields for the roof. Nice color usage in the foliage. I like the stone columns on either end. And the use of the letter tiles to create curtains behind the windows is brilliant!

Well done! :pir-thumb:

Yes, and yes! I've already ordered more DBG. Maybe I'll try this again soon.

Very beautiful diorama. The dock is a fitting complement to Fort Stockton. I like the decorations on the facade and the windows. The pier looks interesting. The Rocky Coast is also well built. Especially the right side with the octagonal columns.

Why do letters work so well for windows?!?!  That's just so good.  And the rock formations--I absolutely love that technique, never crossed my mind to do it for a historical build!  They look great.

Oh that's what those are!

Great stuff all around. Excelsior!

They seem so rudimentary compared to the rest of the build but those basalt columns are a great idea.

Nice. How did you do the plumes on the shakoes?

Great question! The shakos and plumes are from some new Chinese-made Napoleonic soldiers from AliExpress

Thanks guys! I've been finding a lot of inspiration in finding new ways to use parts I have a lot of, and by combining cool techniques I see around the internet with new ones I come up with.
