Hello everybody,

we'd like to show and discuss with you our railway barrier - actually it works manual, but we plan to integrate a mindstorms sensor.

for the crossing inbetween the platforms id add a chain as a barrier to prevent people from crossing the tracks when a train is coming

I think we'll go with the chain variante, but thanks for the effort. 

there is a chain between the two poles. maybe ill go there wednesday and take a detailed picture as it is quite close to where i live.

Wonderful way of controlling the crossing arms. Your setup definitely allows for such options with the brick built ground.

Yes, but indeed you just need one baseplate beneath the rails, have a look:

Thanks, the brick built streets are in general a great technique.

Yes indeed, but then it wouldn't be as high as the rest of my layout.
