I thought Mateo and Z-Blob the Rboot would come with a proper Z-Blob instead of the slime head alone. So Vilndicare is not alone.

To be honest I’m rather happy with the robot coming with the printed dome version of Z-Blob rather than the dreamling-style version. Looks much more accurate to the show than the weird humanoid one.

Personally I LOVE the different varieties of Z-Blob in the sets—the big dome, the "little dude" (as New Elementary's been calling them), and the tiny "handheld" dome version in the Shark Ship set. The very basic nature of his print (just a couple of eyes) also makes him feel really easy to reinterpret as a different creature or character in fantasy or sci-fi MOCs.

 I agree with Lyichif but I personally preer Z-Blob wiht a standard little body so i can put him next to other dreamings (Susan, Logan, Albert, etc) tho.

Me too. I wanted Z blob to look exactly like he does on the show, mainly because I wanted him that scale so could have been placed on Mateo's shoulder like the show.

He comes in that size in the Spacebus or Shark Ship set, usually when he connects to the green rubber bungee cord piece. That version of him can be held by a minifigure hand

In case anyone forgot about my guardian z-blob build, here it is!

he is made (minus the staff) out of 41453, 41454, 41457, and 41458!

I scaled down the crocodile head from 41458, making room for z-blob’s head

I tried to give him knees, as shown above

the lore behind the staff is that it channels energy from lunia’s hourglass, which is stored inside

z-blob has a few poses you can do with him!

Lastly, here’s how the wings attach, and how guardian z-blob  looks in the show

I just got my hands on nomral Z-Blob and Bunchu figures from Z-blob and bunch Escape from Spider polybag. I’m so gla i got them!!

The LEGO magazines with the polybags (across different themes) are not available in Australia (at least not from any normal retailer)

Finally got Z-Blob the Robot. 
Not a fan of how the hourglass is molded. It doesn't stay in the hand that well. Wish they molded a bar onto it as that is how it's held in the show.

Also Z-Blob doesn't like standing up that well on fabric surfaces. (Modded it a bit to stand better)

I don’t think they will make a new hourglass mold wiht a normal bar it would be an “oversized” hourglass.

Not really the existing side bars could be thickened to be clip compatible.

Thickening both bars would probably require more space than could be used for a 1x1 hourglass—it might have to be more around the size of something like the lantern piece to allow for those sorts of connections. And either way that would require a new mold (this one is reused from way back in the 2016 Elves sets).

I am builidng Z-Blob the Robot set and I like it more than it looks from the picture.  Can’t wait to build Bunche the Bunny set next.

That mini Z-Blob robot is SUCH a cool build for a magazine gift like that. It's cool that the next one is gonna be a suited-up Cooper, too, since the helmeted version of him is otherwise only in the Crocodile Car set.
