That device is in the photo because that was the only photo I took of the final version of the frigate before I left home. And I am working with my wife on the new house we are moving into, in a place far from home.

Copied from the description page of this MOC on Rebrickable: Quote Features added: Third island. A wine cabinet and a dining table in the inn. A new section of ship with a workshop and bunk beds. A prison. Using roofed corridors connecting the various sections to protect the pirates during storms. Ramps were used to connect the decks of the different sections to allow for the movement of the cannons. And you can use the four sections to make a complete three-masted frigate with: A stay sail.
