Baylan, Shin, and Elsbeth in the larger Ahsoka set? I’m still in awe that Lego are going this far to cover the show with three sizeable sets, I’m so glad. The trailer looks incredible.

With the show releasing in August, I wonder how likely it is for Lego to bump up the sets to release a month earlier than planned? 

Also quite excited about the future of this theme with all those film announcements!

I mean... maybe? If so, I'm not buying them anymore. I still can't believe that PPP rumor. a 35% price increase for the same number of figs (with less new prints, mind you) and LESS pieces? Just a year after the price was already increased 25%? I just don't get it.

Just so we're all clear, if it is all true, that's an 80% price hike from 2020 to 2023. I know inflation's bad, but it's not that bad.

Probably fairly high. If it doesn't show up in the Ghost, we'll likely see it soon given that lego actually seems to be making sets for Ahsoka.

I wouldn't count on it. One thing you have to know about Lego is that they know how popular clones are. If we get a battlepack in the conventional sense I would never expect to get more than 2 of the same trooper. For example an officer, a sniper and 2 heavies.
If you're gonna get 3 standard clones AND a relatively desired named clone, you're NOT i repeat, NOT going to get that at battlepack price (not at release anyway)

Lego knows how much money is in selling sets with multiple standard clone troopers and they absolutely will not let you army build 3 of them for the $20 price point. It's a clone tax. Plain and simple. One we've brought on ourselves by showing we were willing to buy the 2020 $30 501st Legion Set.

What *is* a possibility however is lego just ditching the entire concept of clone trooper battlepacks in favour of these higher price army builders. Put 3 clones, a named clone or a sought after variant in it and sell it for 50% more than a battlepack and the consumers will still just buy them up because it would still be the cheapest way to get clones. It would take less design work (no need to try and come up with non-canon clone ranks and designs, just put 3 standards in a pack and throw in either a named clone or old faithful, a recoloured airborne clone and make a 100 piece build) and they'd make more money off the people who go out and buy 20+ of them either way.

My money is on this being a test for lego putting a little more effort into the builds with more pieces (200ish) and sell them for $30. I'd be down with it personally. Army building IS more than just minifigs so if it means we get some nice minifig scale speeders, at-rts and more obscure vehicles along side 3 standard clones and a more unique one I'm fine with that.

Think about it this way. Lego doesn't make clone battlepacks with more than 2 of the same clone PERIOD. From memory it happened once in 2009/10 with that legendary clone walker battlepack. So your average battlepack is giving you 1 of the troopers you actually want per $10(adjust for inflation throughout years of-course) + 2 fluff troopers. A $30 set with 3 standard clones would be the same value but it would mean we'd see less "padding" figures (looking at you ki-adi-mundi, barriss offee, clone commanders, droideka and bomb troopers) and better builds.

Impossible, he doesnt have the 3 toe thingies, the helmets are different, and the eight brother died from fall damage.

It's just a bad screenshot. The people there said he looks good.

Also, in the image, we see glowing red eyes, the more bluish shade of skin, and blackish hair. I'm happy it's a more legends-esque thrawn and excited to get an eventual figure of him.

Who (aside from Eighth Brother falling to his death) died in a "goofy" way? The Grand Inquisitor was defeated by Kanan and chose to die instead of facing "things worse than death" (not that he managed to avoid this), Second Sister was killed by Vader, Third Sister was stabbed by Vader and left to die (she survived, though), Seventh Sister was killed by Maul, Ninth Sister seems to still be alive (see J:S trailer), Fifth Brother was killed by Ahsoka and Maul, and Sixth Brother was killed by Ahsoka (in a TotJ short, so we never got to see him be a badass prior to his last duel).

Pretty sure the phantom will be included with the ghost. The original combo of ghost/phantom was around 1.1k pieces or something, this set's up to 1.3k.

He would not know, since the inventory pictures only show the fronts of the parts.

I hope not; that would take away pieces from the Ghost itself, and it would keep us from being able to get a Phantom II set with Ezra, Zeb, and Thrawn.

I think a larger ghost with no phantom is more likely, they can make money by doing they separately and just having them be compatible. Everyone who bought the ghost would be likely to get a phantom 2 set if there was a compatible one next year, and many who don't have the budget to get the ghost would get it so they are getting more sales this way and it could also include some more spoilery characters, allow for a more impressive finished build (the combo) and would allow them to include more figures across 2 sets than they would in 1. Plus maybe they'll include a Zeb in a phantom set.

 

A thought: Are we sure that the Minifigs in the Ghost have not been misidentified? In the trailer, Hera is flanked by a Mon Calamari in a blue-and-white flightsuit and an unknown dark-skinned Male NR officer. This would match the part descriptions from u/FluffySky6, as well as the Minifig list from Promobricks if the pilot and officer switched heads; Quarrie has a tan outfit, so if the Mon Cal head were on the officer's torso, it could be mistaken for him. Additionally, this would explain why the pilot torsos in the Ghost and NR ships sets use different numbers despite having the same printing (u/FluffySky6 said that their hands were different), as the Mon Cal would not have the standard gloves.

Kanan sticks his lightsaber into grand inquisitor's hilt, grand inquisitor just stares at him, and than he falls off, every inquisitor on malacore made goofy sounds and goofy faces before dying, and the last guy from TotJ just deflates like hes a balloon, i don't keep up for the jedi games because i don't care for them, i might play them soon once im able to sell some stuff to afford a ps5.

ALSO, not to mention how in general, the inquisitors acted goofy, if you watcehd rebels, and you most likely did, you already know why.

That is actually genius. More New Republic figures the better. (Just give us those goshdarn Fleet Troopers already)
