May 4, 20231 yr I have a feeling that the molded line on the new clone helmets may have possibly caused the 212th misprints, hopefully that error is now fixed because the 501st clones seems to be properly printed. Edited May 4, 20231 yr by Goofster

May 4, 20231 yr Oh glob, if the 212th trooper in the advent calendar doesn't have fixed helmet printing people are gonna freak out

Its a shame, though. I’d purchase a few AT-TE’s, otherwise. My only thought/prediction is once the AT-TE retires, they’ll do a 212th Legion style battle pack (or £24.99) and have the Crab droid, too. They MIGHT rectify it then…

May 4, 20231 yr I dont have a problem with print on 212 clone helmet or holes. I dont like 2020 style clones. Weird visior Edited May 4, 20231 yr by omegabadbatch
May 4, 20231 yr X-Wing sold out at my local store and backordered online. Feel good about getting an online order rather than waiting for May 6th, when I could go in-person.Â

I know, I know. It’s the hope that kills you. It is truly shambolic, a major stain on this theme and that’s putting it mildly. 40 minutes ago, Legoman123 said: Any idea when we’ll start seeing pictures of the next SW wave? Atleast a month away. More likely to be end of June. We also have to factor in that fact many release September, especially the exciting ones.Â

They didn't fix it for like a year and a half and they decide to fix it for an advent calendar? So the only way to army build correct 212ths would be like $40 each? Screw that. I hope lego just moves on from the blunder. The time to fix it was in the first couple months of the AT-TE. Now people have like 40 of these figures because that's just what the 2022 style 212th looks like for better or worse. I'd really rather they just kept 212ths out of sets for a few years, made some new legions (preferably with correct prints lol) and then in like 2030+ we see a new Republic Gunship (or even another AT-TE if the design improves enough to justify it) with correct 212th figures and maybe a new style of helmet or maybe arm printing. The way i'd love for lego to handle it is just to make most of the well known (or just visually interesting) legions in the 2020 style (+helmet holes or not i don't personally care) like the 501st ✓, 212th✓, 332nd✓, Coruscant Guard✓, Wolfpack, 327th, 41st Elite Corps, Plain P2s and MAAAAAYBE 91st Recon and Galactic Marines if lego's feeling a little whacky. Then in like 2030, make a new design that improves in some way (Arm printing, hip printing, better hole placement) and run it all back again. You'd have these distinct generational clone designs with most of the popular clones available. You could say "oh these are my 2005s, these are my 2014s, these are my 2020s and these are my 2030s" Some people would be super upset at having that current clone design for the next 7+ years but hey, it certainly seems like a loud minority who actually care because it doesn't seem to be hurting sales so far. Just a few whiny youtubers who will always whine regardless of what lego does, looking at you Mandr for whining about the UCS X-Wing Luke Skywalker not having a little printing on the side of the head despite being one of the best looking figures in a while.
May 4, 20231 yr My Xwing was delivered today, shipped separately from the GWP items, which are set to arrive next week. That's the first time I've ever had that happen.

May 5, 20231 yr I preordered my copy of the 2020 Razor Crest in May and got the promo with it, but the Razor Crest shipped in late October (more than a month late, and I had already bought one a few days before September anyway so I sold it), and the promo arrived in March of the next year, lmao.

Typical for me over the last few years with UCS sets (or larger sets like Rivendell). X-Wing being the same as well.Â
May 5, 20231 yr I guess I got lucky, ordered at around 5:30 AM and my stuff came in last night. All my previous Lego orders took at least hat long just to get out of the warehouse! Not at all disappointed with the DSII now that I have it built despite not having a fig, its an excellent little build kind of in the same midi style as the Executer. The other GWPs are just ok

My X-Wing order has two tracking numbers and says they arrive on two different days both a week after I originally ordered which has never happened to me other than when I ordered the ISD but I assumed that was special as it was in a special box. I made 2 orders May 1st the second one was a bunch of the brickheadz I've been wanting but the Tusken Raider says its back ordered and now the stuff that is in stock is stuck "in warehouse". I'm not sure if Lego is going to wait to ship all my stuff together and i have to wait for the Raider to come back in stock or they'll ship separately. Has anybody been in this situation and can advise? Â

It's probably easier for them to ship these big sets on their own than to try packaging them together with other items without them damaging each other inside the box.

Hopefully it means you're getting two copies!  Jokes aside I know they make that error fairly often (happened to one of my friends with the london skyline once), so there's a chance. It's nice when lego's abysmal handling of orders ends up getting you a bonus. 1 hour ago, 1340cc said: They have been doing this for at least 2 years now. Same with my AT-AT and the tatooine diorama.
May 6, 20231 yr I wonder if the Sabine minifig in the T6 will be the short haired armoured look or the look haired unarmoured look. I'd guess armoured because that would make it easier for them to recognise her as Sabine.
