@Lego_Minecraft_Goat posted a teaser in his IG story, showing the phantom mob from Minecraft. This is either a Minecraft 2024 teaser, or maybe he’s hinting at a certain ship of the same name

Haven't we already had lego phantoms? I think you're right that it's likely he's hinting at the ship.

I think I've gotten over the issues of the printed kamas and white-printing-on-darker-colours looking bad, but the main issues with this figure in particular are definitely the blatant inexcusable design errors on the torso and leg prints (i.e. white middle section and white kneepads, all should be red).

The printed Kamas still really annoy me, as it's not like they can't do dual-molding for SW, and it looks really weird from any angle but head-on. Similarly, the white-on-darker colors print also seriously annoys me. Given the cost of sets nowadays, you should be able to do this. My Batmen shouldn't all be extremely pale or extremely tan. The design errors are also really odd choices as it's not like a printing limitation, they just messed up, and with the torso it would actually have been EASIER to do it correctly- less white print.

TLDR: Fox is maybe the most egregious example in lego's quality cuts. I'm not normally the "x clone isn't perfect so lego is bad" guy, but this is like the perfect example of how far lego's quality has slipped.

The Ghost + Phantom set has been leaked/revealed!! :excited: Yeah, whoever said the Mon Cala and the other New Republic character were those two standing behind Hera in the teaser was right on the money! Jacen looks good too.

Love the ship itself, much better than the 2014 version, and the downscaled Phantom II is very neat. Love that the set includes both ships!

Looks solid, I haven’t seen much of rebels so I need to get caught up on it before ahsoka. But isn’t Jacen like half green or something?

Ghost looks great! I really like the downsized Phantom II, because the last one looked ridiculously big compared to a playset scaled Ghost.

Exterior details are nice, and glad the underside is a lot more tidy than playset MF.

Not sure what the UK price will be but 170USD seems too expensive. A set this size should have had more mini figures as well.

The build looks pretty good, I'm looking forward to in-hand reviews. Minifig selection is solid, though for the price it really should include 1-2 more characters.

The Ghost does not appear to have increased in size at all compared to the 2014 version, so the higher piece count mostly comes from the addition of the Phantom and some more exterior details. Overall I wouldn't say it's a complete improvement; it does some things better than the previous version and some things are worse. The underside is not as cleaned-up as the previous one as there is a lot of exposed Technic and the landing gear looks a bit awkward. It is a shame that the upper turret is so bulky yet cannot even rotate like before. The blatant use of inaccurate blue light for the exhausts is strange as they got it right before.

However, the use of interior space seems to be much better, but not exactly accurate to what should be there on the inside. The exterior details along the top are quite nice (they even got the panels behind the cockpit angled inwards) except for the ugly top turret. Minifigures are nice for what they are I guess, I don't think I'll care about them though thanks to the current state of SW and the complete lack of excitement I now have for the Ahsoka show.

Speaking of Ahsoka, it's strange that now suddenly they gave her a new mould for her headtails; it's not that necessary to make them shorter anymore as in the show they have elongated the headtails when compared to her appearance in Mandalorian.

There also seems to be an overengineered feature to rotate the front turret. It is also strange how the cannons are still black like on the 2014 version and not grey, though maybe they have a different color in live-action.

It isn’t absolutely necessary, but it does more closely resemble Ahsoka in the show.
Hopefully the fact that the new Ahsoka mould is smaller and thicker means they can make it out of ABS plastic so the printing doesn’t wear off as easily.

Jacen Syndulla's hair isn't green anymore, and the ears aren't moulded onto his headpiece at least...

A retcon to be sure, but a welcome one.

I love it, would I have loved a slightly bigger ghost with a separate set for the phantom more? Probably but that's in the past now and I love what we've got here.

5 figs does feel low for the size of the set but they are all new and exclusive.

Wow, the Ghost is definitely a Day 1 buy! Certainly a big step up from the 2014 version, and the compact Phantom II looks adorable. A bigger interior would’ve been welcome to see, however I can’t say I’m too fussed given that the main Ghost crew we know and love aren’t occupying the ship at this point in the timeline, outside of Hera and Chop. (Also, glad Jacen has been redesigned so he doesn’t look like an imp).

The minifigures aren’t particularly interesting, however we all know the T6 and unknown $100 set will have the more interesting characters anyway.

Plus, new Ahsoka mould! It looks excellent based on the packaging character art, and that arm printing is most welcome too. @Falconfan1414 also seems to be indicating the enemy ship on the box art will be included in the unknown set, so I’m assuming it’s going to be another dogfight scenario like the Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor.

Gunship is…acceptable. I appreciate it’s a little smaller to scale better with minifigures, however a set of that size / price point could’ve been much better. Omitting clone pilots is absurd, but overall I’ll still buy it as the out of packaging shot looks far more flattering than the box art. All in all, September is looking pretty good!

Republic Gunship - I need to see a lot more before passing judgment and purchasing. But, currently I am not a huge fan…which is such a shame.

The Ghost/Phantom - Absolutely fantastic, I love it! I am so excited to see the rest of the Ahsoka wave now, especially the T6 Shuttle because Ahsoka looks great (box art of  Ghost).

I agree, I think if the smaller scale sets are what we have to get these days this set does that very well (much better than the gunship IMO). I think the Ghost is a prime candidate for the next $800 UCS but at playset scale i just want the ship to look good externally (check) and i'm not fussed on interior detail or scale to a fig.

Ghost looks great! Always wanted one for the collection and this one is perfect (besides a UCS). I like the blue engine details, it looks good (even if inaccurate to Rebels - maybe the show changes that). Also, 75060 had blue and the Slave 1 are not blue in any media that we have seen. Though that too, does not bother me.

Fox, I like the added white as it balances out the figure more. Really still want a new visor mold though (him, Cody, and Vaughn really could have used one). Don't see why they can't include kamas and the owner just removes them based on need at their discretion.

I wonder if the Ghost will get an official reveal and pre-order soon since the pics are HD. Hoping to see better images of the Gunship soon. I feel that size is so hard to judge for me until I see in-hand reviews and comparisons to something I am familiar with.

Damn, the Ghost looks amazing! The Phantom II seems a biiiitt odd, but otherwise very neat, as well.
And then there's the minifigures of course
Might skip it, after all, but still. Excellent job, TLG.

Mitch

Ghost set looks incredible, but wish it was $150 and the phantom was separately for $20 as I personally only want the phantom. Don't care about any of the figures, but the blue pilot looks really nice.

It has been officially revealed and I just cannot understand how a designer fumbles with interior design this much when there's so much space available. Why is there not even a hint of something that's in the actual interior of the ship, such as the couch? It's the 2016 Rebel Combat Frigate all over again: there's so much space but there's nothing recognisable.

Where was it officially revealed? Website?

While I appreciate the minifigs in this set (with them all being exclusive and three of them representing new characters), it‘s still funny to me that the largest of the three Ahsoka sets has by far the least interesting minifig selection

Also, the titular character of a show or movie only being featured in one of the sets is kind of unheard of. I don‘t mind that at all, it‘s just peculiar

for me chopper is the the most interesting minifigure from all 3 ahsoka sets. If Zeb is in 100$ set then chopper would be in second place

Zeb isn't included in any of the sets, as far as we know. Is he even in the show? Haven't heard anything so far, and that awesome CGI design from Mando S3 can't be cheap. Maybe he's in it too briefly to justify a minifig :shrug_oh_well: Then again, this is SW...
