So, quick question -

I remember a few months ago it was very unclear if we were getting Jabba's Throne Room or Palpatine's Throne Room as dioramas, then at some point it seems to have become "we're getting both," or something?  I know that there were some minifigure details given with Jabba's, but were those legitimate or just speculation?  If so, is it possible that it was never coming in the first place and the Palpatine one turned into a game of telephone?

People complain about every possible thing in any new piece of media. Even if it’s the most trivial, harmless thing, there’s always going to be people complaining about it.

The Palpatine throne room is coming, a lot of retailers listed 75352 as that.

The speeder bike diorama is 75352 (lines up with listings and promobrick's list)

The Jabba throne might not release this year.

Star Wars is a trope fest, and is alway going to have the element of pulpy adventure serial to it. Were you also insulted because Obi-Wan looks like a stereotypical wizard being an old man with a beard and long flowing robes? Or that Palpatine looks like the creepy old witch/warlock in the forest with a disfigured face and a hooded black robe?

75354 is a 9+ set which contains 1083 pieces. (Not an 18+ set and its a September release )

why have no major sources commented on this issue of jabbas being cancelled? people jumped on it right away when the temple of doom got cancelled. i get it was maybe because there was box art while jabbas was merely rumor, but still one of the most anticipated of the sets of the year all of a sudden gets canned and no one is really talking about it? i dont really know what to believe

They did a while ago, falconfan mentioned Jabbas throne existed but might not come out anytime soon. Without new concrete info and so many different sources saying differing things I think the major leakers r staying conservative until the set descriptions drop soon.

Really? I hadn't heard anyone complaining about this. Most of what I've heard is that people thought this guy looked cool and they liked these new pirate characters. 

 

Glad to hear there's still hope for the Jabba diorama. I am curious what that 9+ 1083 piece set is though. I would think it's based on newer media seeing as how we don't know what it is yet. I think it's still too soon for a Skeleton Crew set, especially one at that size, so maybe it could be TBB Season 2 or Jedi: Survivor related?

I guess Lego didn't have material to go off of until after they were already working on the Snubfighter and Interceptor VS. Fang Fighter, but they still got it soon enough that we don't have to wait super long like we did with a lot of the Season 2 sets. I'm more confused why we have to wait for the N-1 Microfighter?

Yes, yes, yes!  That's what I was hoping it'd be, fingers crossed that it's a 

 

new version of Bo-Katan based on the live action depiction

As for why that's in August, I'm also perplexed, the only thing I can think is that maybe they wanted to spread the wave out and bolster the August one a bit more?  From what I can remember, August will just be Yavin IV, the Swamp Speeder, the Yoda Starfighter, and the mechs, and the Ahsoka set + unknown 1083 piece set + Advent Calendar are September releases.  If you don't count the mechs, the August wave would just be a very large set, a small battle pack sized set, and a mid-size ship, which is kind of lacking in terms of a mid-size playset, so I guess they wanted to fill in a gap there?

Finally a new dark saber mold. Makes sense that the hilt is the same, cause it’d be a little hard to make a square shaped one in Lego. Also arm printed bo Karan is a major win. Easy purchase

I believe the post you are quoting was an attempt at a joke, regardless of its questionable humor. 

More importantly, I'm very happy if it's true that we're finally getting a Darksaber mold. I can see why they didn't do it back during CW since it probably didn't seem like it would be too relevant long-term, but it feels pretty overdue given its prominence in the Mandalorian. I really hope the set turns out well, but even if it's terrible I'm sure the mold will show up elsewhere later down the line.

Yes! That scene was begging for a set, and I think $44.99 is... fine. Maybe a little overpriced/oversized, but we'll see.

Watch out for spoilers! I don't think we'll get that as a build, due to the spoilery nature. I don't believe we know anything else about the Ahsoka sets (I think technically we don't know if ghosts are even there, but they officially announced Hayden was coming back, so it's either that or a flashback)
