If this is confirmed, I hope it will be a mix between UCS and MBS, i.e. a balanced set between detailed miniature scale barge, with Sarlacc's Pit and two Desert Skiffs, but especially a large batch of miniatures, 20-25 would be ideal. I hope Leia in her dedicated outfit would be included... It could be a masterpiece of (dis)play.

No. He usually just reposts other people‘s scoops, has been banned from a leak subreddit, and has no track record of his own as far as I‘m aware. Probably just an educated guess on his part

sets with just a hero or a villain or nobody:

typically larger sets have a hero going up against a villain

and in this case with din and gideon, DIN HAS THE DARKSABER, hes 100% going to be featured in this set if gideon is, because when gideon returns hes gonna want to go after Din.

Easy pass on the brickheadz but I am glad for those that enjoy them. 

As for the Jabbas sail barge...skeptical. I hope it is true. Some truly excellent figure potential and would give some rationale as to the kerfuffle with the Jabbas Throne diorama.

Without spoiling the context this mando episode proves even more how idiotic it is that lego STILL has not remade the Gunship/V-Wing even so they’ve showed up in new media multiple times (TCW season 7,Bad Batch,now Mando season 3) like WTF is lego doing????????

 

Not to mention the fact a certain ship that has never been made that has been requested for years appeared but I’m sure lego will still ignore it and not make it………

I would edit your comment to a spoiler it anyway, though I agree. Its been 10 years now and I can't think of an older set that's more deserving of a remake of the top of my head. Also more plain P2 Clones!

Still baffled we’re getting Yoda’s Starfighter this year. There are so many better options for ships from that time period and size.

(Unless we get a ridiculously cool surprise, such as it coming with Darth Bane or Count Dooku).

First off, lego insider news has been proven to be a sham time and time again so I hardly believe the rumor. This Sail Barge is supposedly coming 2024 hence why Jabba's Throne Room was likely delayed to save on production costs. 

But personally, I don't see how a $650 Sail Barge sells well. The only $600+ UCS sets have been ICONIC vehicles (Falcon, ATAT, Razor Crest), I don't think Jabba's Sail Barge fits that company. I further don't see it selling well if:

A. Lego releases a Jabba's Throne Room later this year/2024 where Jabba The Hutt will be available for presumably ~$500 less.

B. There is a somewhat inevitable absence of a princess Leia mini figure.

In my opinion, it would have done far better as the May 4 UCS this year and simply including a nice Jabba figure and Max Rebo. In this scenario, if the Jabba's Throne Room still came out, they would probably do a good job still selling an ample amount of both since Max Rebo would be a good selling point at $240.

Could the Yoda intercepter 75360 be mistaken with a vehicle from the latest episode, since it Grogu could easily be mistaken with Yoda on blurry images? It fits somewhat with the setnumber, since 75361 was the spider-droid-thing?

A V-wing? That speeder they use to escape? The jedi, Grogu and a clone trooper and you have a very decent set imo. In general these sets would be easily to market: they cover both clone wars audiences and Mando audiences? Seems more logical than an obscure Yoda star fighter?

I mean, it's a completely different colored and looking ship, so no, probably not.

 

The ship from the new BB would be cool. I'd say we'll never get it, but we got the justifier, so...

No, grogu is way too small to get mistaken for a yoda minfig, also a V wing and interceptor look pretty distinguishable, maybe if the wings are up, but you still have the iconic cockpit which is way different from the sort of beck the v wing has.

Not to mention the Haslab Vintage Collection Sail Barge was $499! Maybe there are people who buy everything, but as much as I love Star Wars, I have never found the sail barge that exciting. I never find the MBS style sets exciting either, but I guess that is why they keep throwing out $400-$800 sets out all over the place.

And don't forget the Star Destroyer and AT-AT in your list of $600+ sets. A Sail Barge would be 6 $600+ sets in 6 years! Insane

Personally, I don't see a $650 Sail Barge selling if it is JUST the Sail Barge, but inevitably it would be a full sail barge with interior, plus at least one skiff, and a great figure selection. That being said, don't expect it this year, but I could understand why a Sail Barge could be that much.

No, definitely not this year, she's most likely gonna be exclusive to the spider tank set up to like 2024 (if she gets a microfighter or something).

Lego tends to keep some characters exclusive to a set during waves from a theme inside of a theme, just like Greef Karga.

counter argument: "but boba was in the starship and than in the throne room" yes but, BOBF was a separate mini theme inside of the star wars lego theme.

It most likely will, it's actually pretty iconic, and theres still fans outside of lego who just like collecting star wars stuff, the fact that it could have minifigs makes it even more desirable, but i can see the point some of y'all are trying to make.
