Also, the Kenobi thing is kind of circumstantial, his starfighter also goes to the 20th Anniversary of AOTC, and Cody and the 212th have been demanded for a while, (the AT-TE could be stretched into an anniversary set for AOTC just like the TIE Bomber this year, but a massive stretch it is). Do you know who also appeared in TCW? Commander Bly and the 327th! (for all of 1.5 seconds). 327th clones confirmed. I mean the swamp speeder having Commander Bly, Aayla Secura and 2x 327th Troopers at a really cheap price point seems almost TOO perfect for Lego to let it happen. When was the last PEEEEEEEEEERFECT lego star wars set? I can't think of one. Quote
Kaijumeister Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 (edited) That new Yoda head mould looks so odd in the 4+ set, but given that it’s a ‘smoother’ piece where details like the eyes are printed on, I could easily see this being the new piece for him moving forward. Just use a darker shade of green and print less bulbous eyes to make it more realistic, and it wouldn’t look too bad. Again, so many new moulds in this set! Keep it coming Lego, I hope the summer sets continue this trend. Regarding the Swamp Speeder, again my consternation around that set is due to how tiny the set will be for it’s pricepoint. I’d ask why it isn’t a battle pack, but then the answer is technically because set price points are assigned before their contents are determined. Wouldn't put it past them to just try and milk army builder AFOLs for an extra $5 for a clone battlepack to be completely honest. ===unrelated=== Also, i'm seeing on instagram that 75354 the unknown 1083 september set is gonna be $130. Old Master Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Definitely bound to have a few leaks before Celebration so I think we are in for a fun next couple days. Also, would not give lego_insider_news the time of day whatsoever, anyone can guess a price of a set and they have already been ridiculed in this space time and time again for misinfo. I don't think the new Yoda set is the atrocity many of you have made it out to be. It's a cool spread of figures catering to a new animation style and is specifically for kids that I'm sure will love it. That being said, the price is still atrocious, but whatever, thats the direction we are heading in whether we like it or not. Yoda Starfighter can actually be a pretty cool set IF it's CW S6 based and includes a 3rd minifig slot. That arc had a lot of really unique characters we would probably never see in anything else. I would love either Darth Bane or a pre ROTS Darth Sidious. Can't believe Lego has never made one with a shadowy face. Would be so darn cool! But I will keep the speculation to a minimum and just say that set could be pretty cool depending on what the source narrows down to. Quote

Pricing aside, it's possible the best 4+ SW ever made as it actually hits the target market of people who may watch the show. Previous 4+ sets were all good but were based on media for a much higher age range. This set looks good, nice figs, good build and action features and is based on something 4+ kids will identify with. Quote

Yeah, this set is great and seems to be a lot fun for kids, reminds me of the spidey and his friends sets, good step in the right direction instead of random OT vehicule build with big molds. Quote
