Easy fix but c'mon lego. Headscratcher. I’m also now reminded that the printed tie fighter hatch for current set 75300 is on backwards on all the marketing and the instructions. These are easy fixes so no harm done, but still, how does that happen? Quote

Also consider the larger the sets become...the less affordable they are for...most ppl and specifically children out there. That last point is absolutely valid, they were definitely working on a tighter budget for that set. I guess the last year has spoiled me, Lego stepped up their set designs across the board. Quote
omegabadbatch Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 (edited) I see that tie interceptor is not mid scaled like tie fighter and tie bomber. I am right? Edited April 2, 2023 by omegabadbatch Quote
Sneakguest Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 I didnt like the Fang vs. Tie. Builds look okey, but already have alot of Ties and boring minifigure selection. Easy pass Quote

They’re claiming the Padme in the gunship is a remake of the 2012 TCW Padme with a tan body suit and dark red jacket. (If this is true that’s an L on the part of Lego considering we need new variants for Padme and her in the senate garb would just be perfect.) Is it the same person who told about gunship? Quote
Goofster Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Nah y'all really complaining about the smallest details bro, c'mon, what's next? Complaining about how General Dodonna's and Leia's weapons are swapped on the box, instructions and etc? Lego is primarily a kid's toy company, and the 2020 AAT is directed towards kids, they aren't gonna inspect every single little minute detail on there bruh. Quote

I think if people think that all clone wars fans should or do just parrot the same opinions they should consider watching a little something very few people know called STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS a show which goes over how even people who are genetically identical, brought up in the same environment and literally programmed to be like each other ended up having a broad range of viewpoints, skills, experiences, personalities, desires and values. You’re only looking at this from someone who’s only a fan of the Clone Wars POV. The mechs still exist, there have been ridiculous prices across the board, and the quality of minifigures has been just brutal at times. Plus we still have no idea what most of the sets look like. CF Mitch Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Had I replied to this yet, since it was made clear the leaks were genuine? I believe not... Now that I've calmed down a bit, so to speak, I've decided to await pictures of both the Republic Gunship and the UCS Venator. The RGS is, at the moment, mainly appealing to me because of the minifigures, which seem fantastic. I just hope the shock troopers are the same style as the current Phase II clone troopers, and not based too much on TCW animation, like the current versions. Which also brings me too the style of Padmé and Palpatine, 'cause a movie version Padmé would be great, since we've had so few of her. Regarding the Venator; it's high time for an improved model, if you ask me, since the TCW version was... weird. Like, kinda fat or something. Having said that, I'm not sure it required a UCS version, for me personally. And that price, yikes... A Clone Wars era Yularen sounds brilliant, though Regards, Mitch Quote

Hey when they only make these things every bloody 10 years (or in the AATs case 5 years) you'd want them to be damn near perfect cus you're either gonna be stuck with an annoyance for 10 years or waiting another decade for them to just get it wrong in a different way. FoggyFate Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 (edited) From the redditor it seems the $100 ahsoka set is a new republic vehicle, no recognizable characters with it. Also Sabine has arm printing. The gunship part inventory is also said to have no green for the front and very little white, and is mostly dark red. So definitely not a normal version. For literally like 30 seconds in I think season 6 of the clone wars, yes it did. The source seems pretty adament that there was a lot of red but they didn't actually see the full build (I think they saw the parts?) So it's super sketchy right now. Quote

And yet, there’s an ocean of difference between the quality of a set like the fighter tank and a set like, say, the playscale Batman Tumbler (which has a ridiculous attention to detail) while costing the same. “it’s just a kids set” is an empty hand wave that frees Lego of the responsibility of making decent sets Quote
Goofster Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 1 minute ago, Classic_Spaceman said: Red variant? Most Gunships have red markings - Did an all-red LAAT appear at some point? Yeah Micro Galaxy Squadron, a star wars toy wave with about 5 gunships: Plo's bros, Coruscant Guard Gunship, Crumble Bomber and Separitist nightmare. The Crumble Bomber is the classic LAAT. From what i know, the Coruscant Guard Gunship and Separtist Nightmare most likely appeared in the background or something in TCW. Quote
