i would have loved a plos bro ship with a new p2 wolffe instead of fox but its hard to complain about how cool this sounds regardless.

i think at the very least, if they're giving him a plain colored visor, it should be dark red instead of orange.

Vaughn's visor is clearly orange, and while the real version may be a bit darker than the orange that LEGO uses for the 332nd, it is nowhere close to dark red!

man, still trying to come to terms with these. Would have thought half were fake for sure!

Love a Venator, however a 2nd large and expensive Star Destroyer is not happening on my shelf. Luckily I built Fly in Space Midi version which is amazing, smaller and cheaper.

Gunship, not gonna lie I'm intrigued. I picked up the UCS one, because I wanted one, but I really think a really good system version is better. Although the colors etc aren't confirmed, I wish I could go back in time, save $$ on the UCS and pick this up instead.

Ghost! I partially regret selling mine, but made a tidy profit! It just didnt hold up on the shelf compared to other UCS sets. I hope this one does and can replace it.

Ashoka's ship, not intrigued by the ship, but want the figs! Hopefully this can be on sale down the line.

 

And if May really is a new X-Wing UCS, I may have to skip that, instead of upgrading my current one so I can save for some of these sets!

Something that I just realised - For those who are disappointed that the 2023 501st Battle Pack did not include any standard Troopers, you can get a Swamp Speeder and swap helmets to get normal 501st and 332nd specialists.

I dont see any estimated date earlier than September or October? So I doubt it!

I would bet only May sets or whatever is in summer. If that!

T-6 and the Ghost. Maaaaybe the other Ahsoka set as well. And yes the TIE vs FF

The Ahsoka sets are releasing in August/September, so I am not expecting to see them anytime soon (I will happily be wrong again, though!).

It releases in May, correct? If so, it will probably be revealed at Celebration.

I did, and he said that he did not remember much else.

The $100 Ahsoka set is still in the air as well as the May 4 GWP. 

Otherwise, that's a wrap on 2023

Have you seen the new one, or is this a guess? Because if it's the latter, since the 2011 shuttle was $60 (also with 4 figs), I'm feeling that this one has to be substantially smaller at $70, since from inflation alone the 2011 set would be $80.25 today, not to mention lego's own price hikes and the general move from larger parts to smaller parts over the last decade.

Right right I skimmed right over that amidst all the gunship talk today lol! So it's just the May 4 GWP, which we are now hearing is a midi scale something contrary to the prior rumor of it having 1 minifig as well.

Also, this is a pretty good idea of size and scale of the UCS Venator we are getting if anyone was struggling to wrap their head around it still like me!

A 501st Specialists pack
A 332nd Company pack
And you can swap the helmets to make a third or even fourth version of the pack.

You can have 501st Regs
332nd Regs
501st Specialists
332nd Speciaists

I find it absolutely hilarious that we've swapped opinions on this year since the new info (While I'm glad we're getting a gunship and ghost, I think the figure selections are horrible, and I don't think the UCS venator is a good idea right now, much less with Rex, so the wave overall has dropped from "potential to be incredible" to "average, with a standout or two"). Goes to show how much a few sets can make or break a wave for people. 

Anyway, my main point was meant to be that you're totally right. Between the two of these, you can have any conceivable variation of the 501st legion. Now we just need that 2024 accessory pack with Hardcase, Fives, Kix, and a helmet rack with Jesse and Tup's helmets, and the entire conceivable 501st legion will be purist buildable.                                                (Cries in the corner over my inability to army build the 212th and coruscant guard.)

Hmmm. Has anyone heard anything about whether or not the Ghost will have an interior? I have the old one, and I like it, but it’s absolutely tiny.
