@united.bricks.official on instagram just posted a P2 Rex on their story. Captioned with "I got sent this P2 Rex, take with a grain of salt though as it's not confirmed from my source" I'm looking at it and it's definitely not just a fan build one cobbled with 501st specialist parts. It has a distinct chest piece with an armor piece we haven't seen on other figs (not the one from the 501st Heavy) and it has a printed waist cape similar to the 501st officer but with different knee markings. It also has a cloth pauldron and the helmet looks different from the old helmet as it has a black line above the visor which was absent in the original old figure. It does NOT have arm printing though, instead using full blue arms. It's actually very similar to the one we see in the skywalker saga game but with no arm printing and with a much better looking helmet. (Skywalker saga actually uses the 2014 style of clone helmets and made a very ugly big chinned Rex helmet out of it)

It could be a photoshop or a decal job for sure. Could be a look at what we're getting though.

I doubt that either will appear this wave, since the T-6 has the "Inquisitor" character and the New Republic ships set seems only to have pilots.

I just asked u/FluffySky6 about the mech Minifigs (which Vader and Boba variants we are getting, and if the Stormtrooper uses the trash compactor torso and legs); no response yet, but I will keep checking and updating here!

Not getting a Minifig is disappointing, especially since there a number of Imperial officers that could have been included (Tarkin is the most obvious choice, but Romodi and Bast are also good choices).

The most imposing/interesting thing visually about the Death Star is it's size, so one that'll most likely fit in the palm of my hand doesn't interest me much. I hate to be that guy but have I missed anything of note? I was up to date when we were on page 165 but I hadn't had a chance to check since this afternoon and now I seem to have missed 9 pages of discussion (and maybe more information?).

Anyway, whoever brought up the point about the 332nd and 501st battlepacks being swappable is a genius. Honestly it makes me tempting to get two of each (which I literally never do), but I'll probably just swap them as necessary.

Oh wow so a new OT arm printed Boba. Rip to anyone that just paid like $150 for one this last year.

Cannot say I am surprised tho as virtually every named "Mando" has arm prints in sets these days.

Hopefully the Boba Fett figure is from ROTJ rather than ESB. The Cloud City minifigure still looks great today but the ROTJ version has never been done with arm printing before.

Shame Padme sounds like she will just be a remake of the old Malevolence figure. For a character with such an extensive wardrobe her minifigures always seem to be stuck with the same four costumes. Still any Padme figure is better than none at all. A new mold for her braids would be nice but I'd be okay if they reused an existing part like King Valkyrie's in brown.

Prolly decal from what known leakers have said rex will look really similiar to his Skywalker saga figure which has arm printing and white arms. Also don’t think the figs are in production just yet

Cheaper to just get the legs unless you also want the other minifig parts. It's a cheap part so I would recommend the upgrade, Imperial officers look much better with dual molded legs.

Yea i do want the minfig as a whole, i can swap the legs out so he isn't dismantled, so i'll get it sometime this week, idk bout pearl gold epaulettes since his epaulettes arent that big
