Ideally/hopefully a minifig-scale UCS  set with a bunch of minifigs. (Like the AT-AT, Razor Crest, or Falcon, but with more figures)

I can't imagine it'd be anything but minifig-scale at UCS size. It's one of the few remaining OT ships I think LEGO could pull off at that scale. I have no idea what the interior looks like, though, and an accurate, minifig-scale interior may not lend itself to great structural integrity.

A proper UCS sandcrawler is the next $850 beast

That would have to be smaller than minifig scale, (see a Sandcrawler next to the Razor Crest in the Mandalorian) but yeah, a large Sandcrawler set could probably work. I don’t know if it would end up being much larger than the previous UCS Sandcrawler though.

Hmmmm, definitely need to see the official pictures, but maybe I will get to save some $$$. Initially X-wing pic isn't screaming replace the last one! Even though I know people have issues with it. But to upgrade a UCS set, it better really look better than the last.

First glance, there are things better, but it's not saying "Buy me" yet.

I don't expect gaps like that along the nose in a UCS either!

UCS X-Wing leaked.

Looks lovely.

More. MORE.

Yeah it looks really quite good with the whole ship. More angles, I want to see the back with the engines and...well all of the details.

Oh wow, yeah all of the details. Sold. Looks wonderful

Yep, looks way better in the photo on the stand with the wings folded.

The front box art still looks a little odd, like the air intakes on the engine are a little too big or positioned a little too high above the main portion of the ship.

Printed windshield is fantastic.

The dip on top of the nose is much better than the 2013 version.

The overall shaping has been done really well.

Not sure if it demands to be bought for those who have the 2013 version, sort of like the recent R2 remake. Seeing it in person will probably make my mind up.

I bet the build will be really cool. Like the A-Wing. To get the shaping nicely like it appears to do

Oh yeah, for sure. I loved that build, definitely underrated. I'm especially curious to see how the S-foil function comes together.

Lego, fire the people in charge of your box art.

Agreed!

The white isn't that bad, tbh i think it looks better in white than grey, although being inaccurate.

Yeah same here, and I don't think it should be too difficult to modify the nose to grey if anyone wants to.

Also agree. The sets are amazing and the box always seems to find the bad angles

Looks like the large circular piece on top may be used to turn the S-foils. If so, this solution is better for me, as the one on the back limited the detail.

Maybe it'll have landing gear like the Y-Wing. Not a miss if it doesn't though.

Looks like a significant improvement over the 2013 one. Proper sized engine intakes, more accurately shaped nosecone and they finally made the fuselage hexagonal. Doesn't appear to have many stickers either - wing details are brickbuilt unlike the previous version which had large stickered slopes next to the engines.

Box art sucks though, black background really doesn't work for vehicles. Looks almost as bad as the box art on the Z28 Camaro last year.

Saw the TIE and Fang Fighter built from the same source that got the set early. This set is really good. My one complaint is that the Fang Fighter doesn't spin around, but whatever. I'll live with that.

R2-tiny is so silly. Honestly R2-petite2 ruins the look of this. Look at a picture from the film artoo sticks out quite a bit.

This x wing looks rough. I like that the details are all brick built, but the proportions are off. The intakes are oversized, the s-foils open too wide, and the whole fuselage is really fat. From above it looks cartoonish.

Really disappointed considering the potential.
