Never heard of that alleged leaker before… Are we sure they didn‘t just drill holes into a helmet themselves?

Looks like it has the ridges around the helmet above the visor too. If it was fake it would probably have to be a decaled 212th helmet, but the printing looks pretty real to me.

Taking that latest 501st helmet & blue sunvisor leak to be real (if it's not it's certainly a high quality fake, assuming the photos haven't been touched up I can't spot any clues that it's been decalled and the colours and print look like Lego's work to me), I'm glad the visor is normal blue to match the helmet markings, and it looks like Lego have been able to print closer to the sides of the fin again after having left larger gaps between it and any other printing on the clones from the AT-TE with the new helmet mould compared to what they did on the old mould before. So that's good, it'll match the 2020 501st quite well by the look of things.

I hope it's just the officer and specialist that use that helmet print though - the heavy should have a slightly different helmet print really, as he should have extra padding printed on the upper part of the helmet like Cody does but coloured blue instead of dark tan (he could potentially also have Cody's extra black 'arrow' design beneath the mouth area if based on the prototype Hot Toys figure rather than the BF2 game, but I highly doubt it). I could certainly believe they've simplified things and just used the same helmet print for all of them though, especially if the original rumour that the heavies also incorrectly reuse the standard 501st leg print is true as well.

I hope we get the full leaks / reveals of these 501st soon, I'm not too bothered about the officer but I really want to see the full heavy trooper figure and the specialist's binoculars

-EDIT- Looks like there's been confirmation of this being fake, nevermind! Guessing the photos were touched up after all. Wonder what the real deal looks like then

I saw somewhere that there was a rumored Jabba’s Palace D2C/UCS set for 2023 but now I cannot find that post anywhere! The post name dropped Lyn Me as a fig along with most if not all of Max Rebo’s band which I would love to be true. Thing is I cannot find this post anymore and cannot remember where I heard this rumor. Has anyone else heard of this rumor or am I going crazy? Even if its false has anyone else heard of this?

For the $100 Tie Interceptor/Fang Fighter set, I’d like for it to be 60/40 with the 2 builds and not 50/50, as I feel the Tie Interceptor should be a bit bigger than the Mandalorian Fang Fighter. Excited to see how that one turns out.

I'm not certain but I think the rumour was for one of the 18+ dioramas, however that diorama has also been rumoured as another Death Star Final Duel set, probably caused by confusion surrounding the likely use of "Throne Room" in the set's name, which could apply to both, with the defining part of the title likely being lost in translation.

wonder if the Fang Fighter set includes Moff Gideon with his recently rumoured

black Mandalorian helmet and jetpack

:excited: The set will come out after the season has ended, just like this year’s N-1, so it wouldn’t be out of the question. And while they’re at it, they could use the new medium brown colour on him

I totally thought they already used that color on him, but it didn't exist yet for figs. (I'm gonna be that guy and say that medium brown has been a color since 04 from bionicle ) So yeah, it'd definately be a nice addition to the figure.

And I think they can fit the spoiler stuff in too. Giancarlo Espacito's already implied that pretty heavily in promotional stuff.

Well now I'm confused. I believe both throne rooms are coming as 18+ dioramas, though the jabba one contains nowhere near that number of figures.

It's probably gonna made in the same style as 75150 Darth Vader's TIE Advanced vs A-Wing Starfighter. That one had Darth Vader, Tarkin, Sabine and an A-Wing pilot. Its probably gonna have the same number of figures and will use the same general formula; a TIE pilot, an important Imperial figure(somebody like Gideon), a Fang starfighter pilot and someone important from the Mandalorian side. Knowing Lego though, they would probably cheap out and include a figure we have already gotten before, like Mando or Bo Katan...

While they are very similar, the new medium brown and the old one (now renamed “light brown” in the bricklink nomenclature) are not the same: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp?utm_content=subnav

Actually, I wouldn’t mind getting another Bo-katan. Her live-action armour is not exactly the same as the one in TCW, so it’d still be a worthwhile figure :classic:

And Mando wouldn't be that bad either considering we might get new helmet printing that matches the piece from the UCS Crest which I think would be great.

Were they not rumoured under the same set number?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I heard that 75352 and 75354 were different diorama sets that would each cost the same, $100. The Endor Diorama is 75353 for $80 and 75351 is the unknown $70 set...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to reveal season, but it sort of loses its punch when the wave only consists of three sets :head_back:

This January, we at least had the two accessory packs to bolster the otherwise equally miniscule line-up.

Mostly looking forward to the May stuff, so that’s gonna be a while

Same, at least in terms of the May stuff (and the Mando sets), but, and not to get people's hopes up, how far in advance did we know about the accessory packs? I know the specific contents were pretty heavily in question up to the point of image reveals, at least for the clone one, but how far in advance did we know they existed?

November 27th was when we learned about the Defense of Hoth and Clone Command Station Accessory Sets, so if we're going to get more Star Wars accessory sets next year, we'll know within the next few weeks. Even though, personally, I'd rather Lego just make more wide release battle packs...

The bad thing about having the Lego Star Wars sets so spread out for the first half of next year is that it feels like it takes forever to see everything. I also feel like Star Wars usually get more and more interesting as the year goes along so it makes that wait feel even longer. The bright side is that it's more affordable to buy everything on release day. Like I'll be able to buy all three new Star Wars sets, the Morbius set and a few Series 24 packs at the Lego Store on January 1st without completely devastating my wallet. The Boba microfighter won't blow my mind but I'm very excited to see the TIE Bomber and new 501st Battle Pack.

Was it that late? *huh* I could’ve sworn the first rumours surfaced much sooner, with all that speculation at first and then the whole Rex and Cody misinformation debacle…

Ok, so there's still hope. But was that when they were unveiled, or when leakers found out about them? Because I know for a few days leakers thought p1 cody and rex were in the accessory pack.

Same. Jan 1 I'm buying 2-3 specialist packs and the Morbius set.

The new andor episode almost made me cry, this show is EXCELLENT. I'm buying the set now, if nothing else I need

Spoiler

a figure of Luthen after that monologue. I know we'll never get a Kino Loy, but I wish we had one too, and I'm glad his fate was left just slightly in the air enough for them to wiggle him out if they so choose. I think if they had some of the prisoners he inspired carry him with them, it wouldn't be a "somehow palpatine returned" contrivance, but I'm alright with his poetic death of being the only one unable to escape after inspiring rebellion.

(Unrelated, but the Mon Mothma scenes are starting to drag for me. They haven't gotten worse, it's just that everything else is so good that it's dragging down in comparison)

Right!?! So good! Though I'm calling this now:

Spoiler

Kino Loy lives by staying on the station and is taken in by ISB for questioning.

We'll know for sure in two weeks when Andor's season ends.

Exactly, they feel very same-y even though progress is being made. And luckily, no cornflake munching and henpecking this week

I have to say, this show has really grown on me, especially with the latest arc! Still hope K2 shows up as early as possible in the second season.

And the set potential still hasn’t improved :shrug_oh_well:

I personally still like the idea of the accessory packs, mainly for their potential to include named characters rather than to build an army. I'd love to see one for Andor and another for TOTJ, but it seems to me that LEGO's just going to continue using them as mini-battle-packs like they did this year, if they're coming back at all.

Rumors that accessory packs were coming came out earlier but Nov 27th was when the rumors came out about what they were

but this year I wouldn’t hold your breath for accessory packs for the first half of the year

Honestly, I'll be happy if they never make those stupid "accessory packs" ever again. I refuse to pay reseller prices for current year sets, so getting the hoth rebels was harder than getting my PS5 last year, and the clones are just impossible in New Zealand. Sold out instantly on lego.com and never in stock in the only lego store we have in our country.

Glad to see you've turned back around on this show, Stellen Starsgard and Andy Serkis alone are making it the best disney+ series no contest.

But yeah, not much set potential improvement unfortunately.

Spoiler

It sounds like that was it for Andy Serkis's role in the season according to some interviews he did, so unless they confirm what happened to him off-screen, it'll be another Howzer situation.

Unfortunate, but thanks for letting us know.

So...you just want wider releases of them/more stock? Or do you have something against the concept of the set?

I would love a set of Luthen’s ship but I don’t think it’s a very likely candidate for a large set. It would be a nice way to include some Aldhani figs and possibly other characters depending on where we see it in the next few episodes.

I want general release battlepacks available at any retailer that sells Lego like the snowtrooper pack we got this year. Not these moronic scalper magnet accessory packs which are exclusive to Lego stores, and instantly sold out when they rarely restock.

That’s exactly what they should be used for, packs of characters you only really need one or two of. Let the wide release battle packs be the army builders. The fact that Lego threw away so much money by not making that Phase One Clone pack a normal battle pack continues to astound me, especially since it’s retiring this December and apparently isn’t getting replaced by another accessory set in 1HY 2023.
