Would you like better to see normal stormtroopers or imperial mandalorians in battlepack?

I want normal stormtroopers if their helmets are reverted/changed. New ones are disgustingly bad.

Imperial Mandalorians would be incredible in a $20 battle pack, but they will most likely go for dark trooper style of set for $35 cause they are greedy like that and know we will still buy them. If Moff is with them with the mando armor I wouldn't even complain.

Lol why on earth was the tie vs fang considered spoilery. Im still at a loss here.

It’s not necessarily spoilery, but if they have the official reveal right after the episode it appears in that might lead to more pre-orders.

Did we actually see a Fang Fighter during this episode - or at any time during the season? I could be wrong but all the ships looked like Gauntlet fighters. Not that I'll say no to the upcoming set, especially for the TIE Interceptor, but it'll be funny if the set is based on an idea that didn't make it into the show, especially with TLG taking so long for a reveal.

We see them flying beside the Gauntlets when they dive below the clouds.
Also,

Spoiler

Who else thinks that Moff is not actually dead? His Phase 4 Dark Trooper suit was made of Beskar and strong enough crush the Darksaber's hilt, so some fire would probably not be enough to kill him. Additionally, with it established that he cloned himself, he could return that way, or the Gideon that we have seen throughout the series could turn out to be a clone himself (Cara Dune was quite adamant that Gideon was executed for war crimes).

Honestly I think they should all be dead. The light cruiser crashing should have collapsed the entire cavern system, not just create a big fireball as it passes before disappearing into the depths. However there is one thing stronger than beskar armour, and that's plot armour.

On a separate note, the concept art at the end appeared to indicate a larger space battle was planned, assumedly where the Fang Fighter vs Interceptor dogfight would take place and where Lego would have got their info on which to base the set. Obviously this space battle was scrapped but the set was produced anyway; I wonder if Lego designers themselves watch the show when it airs and go "Huh, that's nothing like what we were shown. You know, R5 and Axe Woves would have definitely been much better figs to include in this case".

Also, the designers are probably kicking themselves that they finally made a piece for the Darksaber, just for the saber itself to be destroyed two weeks before the first set it's in releases.

Am I the only one who thinks that destroying the darksaber was the most RIan Johnson thing ever?

Spoiler

The moment we didn't see him sliced limb from limb, I suspected that he'll bs his way into another season. Can't let villains die, y'know... :hmpf_bad:

Also the fact he no longer has his mustache seems like the kind of subtle sign that Gideon is not...well, Gideon.

Seems quite sad that the best Mando S3 set is also the one of least consequence. Should've just made a 40th anniversary TIE Interceptor and call it a day.

With the fighter twinpack having 2 starfighters that weren't even on screen at the same time, and the spider mech missing the Grievous-like cyborg the Season 3 sets have been quite a let down so far. Probably more Lucasfilm's fault than Lego's but disappointing either way.

Might have had some better minifigs if they had done that, Jerjerrod and/or Piett. And the Fang fighter could have still been released on it's own as a seperate set.

It is a quite decent build for a small scale Y-wing but I have no big interest in a small scale Y-wing, I'll save my money this issue, see what the one after that has in store, for the price of the magazine it really takes a minifig for it to feel justified for me, unless I really like the minibuild.

It's just a random hodgepodge of characters and vehicles from the final 3 episodes, but with nothing being correct. The Fleet Commander has like 2 lines and doesn't pilot a Fang Fighter, the TIE interceptors never actually fight the fang fighters, the astromech is literally from episode 6, and Mando doesn't have the darksaber in eps 7 and 8. It's a nonsense set.

Spoiler

Who knows, there might been Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptors fights, but not shown in the last episode. I would be surprised if the Arquitens-class command cruiser managed to destroy all TIE's.

I think Boba from his mech could be the best minifigure from this year

Whay makes you say that, have you seen it? I don't see any leaks in the usual places

How so? It‘s just gonna be another OT Boba, which we‘ve had 20 versions of already. Not saying it‘s not gonna be good, but we‘ve had excellent versions of him with printed arms, legs, and a cape before, and a mech version probably won‘t have all that.

I think that title will more likely go to Bo-katan, Rex, or any of the countless exciting minifigs in the Ahsoka sets :sweet:

fluffysky 6 is saying that Boba will have printed arms.

Facts. I only really care about the TIE Interceptor, personally (my favorite of the TIE variants).

and I think he of course will have new helmet

Padme: New helmet print right?

Personal favorite figure so far is between Bo-Katan and Pilot Luke. Don't see many figures topping them (No, not even Rex)

I won't go into spoilers, but I was honestly pretty let down with Mando Season 3. Honestly, I felt like a lot of the fan speculation and predictions were a lot more interesting than what we ended up getting. As someone who loved Seasons 1 and 2, and those two Mando-centric episodes of TBOBF, this season felt like a significant drop in quality. That's not to say that I hated or even disliked this season, (Chapters 18, 21 and 23 were all stellar episodes and there was still a lot of good stuff throughout the rest of the season) but I'm just disappointed with how they squandered the opportunities of where they could go following the Season 2 finale. It feels like they even undid a lot of the cool things that the Season 2 finale accomplished. But unlike a lot of other Star Wars fans, I'm not going to sit around and ruminate on the stuff I didn't like. We just had Celebration and there's plenty of other content that looks exciting, so for this one thing that let me down, there's going to be plenty of other things that I'll enjoy. Heck, Jedi Survivor comes out next week and I'm so excited for Ahsoka in August.

I don't feel like I have anything to add for my list of potential Season 3 sets. The Corair, an updated Gauntlet Fighter and a battle pack of those guys would be sufficient for Season 3. I still feel like the Mando sets we are getting for 2023 are super dull.

Ok, but you see how if it's "The general situation could have happened offscreen", not to mention that

Spoiler

The set has characters that 100% weren't involved in that hypothetical situation, such as an astromech from a different planet and a fleet commander as a pilot

, the set's really not that accurate.

It's another case of Lego just not being provided with the right information due to secrecy, but it is funny to me how inaccurate the set is.

I think in general, the season really just needed a Gauntlet fighter, Corsair, or one of the captured mandalorian ships as a set. Keeping the same price points, for mando S3 I would have done:

Spoiler

$35 set- kept as the snubfighter, but c'mon, add a third figure. Ideally S3 Greef, but even just Mando with the Darksaber would work.

$50 set- the Fang Fighter by itself, slightly larger, with a turning feature. Comes with Mando, Axe Woves, Koska Reeves, and a generic Nite Owl mando. Depending on spoilers, Mando and/or Koska could be replaced by beskar imperials.

$100 set- Bo-Katan's gauntlet fighter. Comes with Mando, Bo-Katan, Grogu, R5, the Armorer, Paz Vizsla, and Ragnar.

In a perfect world, the $50 set would instead be Mando's N-1 with him, grogu, R5, and Bo, but we just got one last year. Also ideally, we'd have a beskar imperials battle pack (but too spoilery I guess) or a large set like the Mandalorian Gozanti or the Corsair.

Funny how the snubfighter ended up being the most cohesive, complete set of the Mando wave

Really? How so? I still think T vs FF is the best one.

Despite the minifigures being eh

Hi,

Sorry not a big star wars fan (still like it), so I haven't been keeping track of things here, but I did love the fallen order game ( eagerly awaiting the sequel😁).

I know there was a BDone android set last year, is there another fallen order set coming this year?

Like maybe the mantis stinger?

I haven't heard anything but thought 🤔 I'd ask cause I can ! And thought they'd want to tye in to the new game!

And I thought you people'd know!
