It does, but the only major difference is that they‘re not as muddy as those If we got them as minifigs, the helmet would be exactly the same as in the Solo TIE Fighter with different torso and leg prints, plus a riot shield. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but I‘d take it I'd be super excited if we were getting a regular Navy trooper tbh. I really want to have some that aren't just a singular muddy Han Solo, despite how cool that figure is. Quote

Yeah, the only army trooper we have being a muddy, battle-damaged Han Solo that somehow costs $35 isn't conducive for army-building. Just putting two of them in a set would be enough for me. Quote
Archer Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Ok so if we get one more set from Andor please let it be Luthen's ship. Spoiler The set can have spy luthen and Art Dealer Luthen. I'm now convinced that Saw and Benthic are acceptable minifigs to get with it, as they are at least in the ships proximity at a point. Quote

Yeah, Luthen's ship definitely deserves a set after that episode! Including Saw and Two Tubes would just be the icing on the cake. Quote
PsychoBuilder Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Add me to the list of people who would be interested in Luthen's Ship at some point. I haven't been keeping up with Andor (bit burnt out on the miniseries, but I might try it since it's supposed to be good), but that ship looks pretty neat looking, I like the general look of the show, and anything that ties into Rogue One would be neat to get since it may be a while before they return to that. That being said, I suppose at some point Lego will likely return to it, Solo, and the ST. Quote
ArrowBricks Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Luthen’s ship is class. One of the very few instances where I’ve actively said I want that as a Lego set as I’m watching. Great scene. Quote

I do hope they go back to rogue one, between stuff like the partisan x-wing, Zeta Shuttle, TIE Reaper, and AT-ACT that we never got, and stuff we need remakes/bigger versions of like the U-wing, there's so much untapped set material. I'm glad to see so many people asking for Luthen's ship. I really hope they make it. Quote
ToaDraco Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 I definitely want Luthen's ship. That's a much more worthy set than what we got. I really like Luthen and I want his figure but I don't know if the Andor set we have is really worth it. Saw, Two Tubes and a Partisan X-Wing would be an awesome set too. Quote
The Stud Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Count me in for wanting Luthen’s Ship. The Fondor is just so cool and Lego could incorporate so many cool play features into that thing. If they can do something like The Justifier, why not this ship too? I also would really like to see Saw (finally) and Two Tubes in Lego form, and I think this would be the best set to include other characters like Mon Mothma and Vel too. Hell, I wouldn’t mind a model of the Arrestor Cruiser, especially because of the history behind that design, but that’s admittedly far less likely. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Yeah, I'm also all for Luthen's ship. It looks fantastic, and feels surprisingly unique, mainly to the wat it's been shown in the series. I also wouldn't say no to another Quadjumper Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Luthen‘s ship really is just asking for a toy. A secret compartment with bomb-dropping feature and giant friggin‘ laser beams! Funny how most of my previous complaints have been addressed in this episode: Finally aliens that are more than background fodder and actually have some lines, some humour (Linus just cracks me up and the „It‘s Tubes“ bit was gold), and a very memorable if brief action scene! Also: people were claiming for a while that a character would say „f*** the Empire“ on the show, which would have been pretty out of place. It kinda did happen, but I’m glad they used a fictional swear, as they should Hoping for a good finale! And a dramatic major character death too. With all these people coming to Ferrix, there‘s no way they all make it out alive! Quote

It's like a polite version of the 501st battle pack. I liked the aliens, and loved the "tubes" bit, though it also Spoiler Makes the hilarious yet disturbing notion that Saw's borderline mentally ill paranoia comes from Luthen just relentlessly lying to him I'm glad they didn't say f*** in star wars, as I think it's a little out of place like you said, but I love that they worked it in in a way. Nobricksleft Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 UCS Fondor would be amazing. That ship is the Star Wars version of a Q-car. Quote

Hold your horses, we don‘t even have a regular set yet! Besides, I’m convinced UCS sets based on anything other than the movies will remain a rarity. Mando is an absolute powerhouse for D+ and even there I‘m surprised they did the Razor Crest at all, let alone so quickly! I doubt we will ever see a UCS set based on any of the other shows, unless they manage to reach Mando‘s numbers and pop culture impact. Quote

No matter which series you personally prefer, Andor just doesn't have as a big of an audience as Mando and that's ok. Its merchandising possibilities are also severely limited in comparison. That's no criticism towards the series, just the way it is. Quote

There have been two new generic trooper variants in Andor; Army Troopers and Security Troopers. Army Troopers have new olive green shirts and pants with either olive caps or black Mudtrooper armour; the Security Troopers wear the same uniform, but entirely in black. Quote

I agree about us not likely getting UCS sets based on stuff other than the movies. The only one I think is possible might be the Ghost, if it has a big presence in the Ahsoka series. (Although I guess the Ghost technically was in a movie, but that’s obviously not where it’s most prominent) I think we’ll end up getting a Fondor playset for Andor, and that’s it, at least for Season 1. The Book of Boba Fett still hasn’t really gotten a set of its own, and that show translates to Lego sets way more than Andor does. Edited November 19, 2022 by QuiggoldsPegLeg Quote

I was hesitant to post anything on it because the first guy to post the image hasn't leaked anything before, but it does look pretty legitimate. If it's not the heavy's torso, it's a pretty darn good imitation. The torso itself is fine. Nothing special or super detailed, but pretty nice. Hence why I'm inclined to think it's legitimate. 3 hours ago, BrickBob Studpants said: Helmets that cover their faces. Happy now?! I'm never happy.
