I dont know what to do beacuse I want only tie interceptor from 75348

I'm assuming that the parts to build each ship will be totally separate from the other ships, so you could always buy the set and just not open the bags that have Fang Fighter pieces, then resell those.  You could probably make back $40-50 of the price just doing that, then you have a TIE Interceptor for $50.

thank you. I was thinking about doing this.

there is extra darksaber piece in fangfighter vs tie set

More like there is the potential to get an extra copy but it's not guaranteed , I didn't get an extra indy hat or wrecker armour.

There's a CG render on Instagram using the Grand Moff Tarkin hairpiece. I think the piece itself looks fine but I'm not a fan of using tan as the color choice. White would have been a better choice.

Oh right the 12th Doctor hair in tan. I saw the render on #legoleaks and I looked right over it, cause it was a videogame picture but a guess there's alwats different ways these bits of info come out. I think it works well enough, but yeah tan does sorta work but it does look more like a blonde hair than the white hair he has in RoTS. I mean it's different lighting I guess but whilst tan sorta works here, it definitely wouldn't fit the kidnapped Palpatine.

In the video game render that shows palpatine is that a new version of plo? I also noticed the kashyyyk trooper is using a recoloured version of the imperial scout trooper. Obviously this could just be their interpretation but seeing as this game has now shown us Fox, Rex and Palpatine could some of the others be future minifigures as well? They showed Wolf and now seeing the updated plo it does make me think we could be seeing them soon. Perhaps we might even get a Turbo tank in 2024 with new kashyyyk trooper helmets.

The game may just be saving money by reusing assets, so I doubt that we can take the part-usage as confirmation of a future design. As for Plo, he needs to have a new head mould - The old one is too thin and underdetailed!

So here some interesting comments from the Lego designers talking about the the Mandalorian ( sourced from brick fanatics)

"We just watched a fantastic, exciting episode yesterday,” LEGO Star Wars Design Manager Michael Lee Stockwell tells Brick Fanatics and other LEGO Fan Media in a roundtable session. “Everybody’s very inspired by what we saw yesterday. We don’t have a lot of insight ahead of time, so we’ll have to see what we come up with, but it’s all inspiring. So we’re already looking forward to the next season.”

“Yeah, a lot of cool new characters, a lot of cool new action scenes, plenty of scenarios for us to lean into,” adds graphic designer Maddy O’Neil.

“But also some brought into live-action like the Gauntlet, we’ve never seen that before,” LEGO designer Nathan Clark chimes in. “I’d love to see a Gauntlet."

I did find them saying "We don’t have a lot of insight ahead of time" making a lot of sense given what we getting now compared to what we saw in the season. Also I'm not taking this as confirmation of a gauntlet but if it's something they want to do I could see it getting a UCS like the razor crest, it's been prominent enough and the one in the show is about 35m not 60m.

We all would ;)

It’s the perfect set to get what we are missing.

We have nothing telling us that how Fox, Palpatine, and Rex look in the Skywalker Saga is how they’ll look in Lego.

And I’m sure there’s no communication between the set designers and video game designers. The characters in the video game have no bearing on future sets, and vice versa. New 2024 minifigures probably haven’t even been finalized yet.

Maybe completely I missed some info then. I never saw anything saying they were the same design as the video games.
If that is the case that’s a little disappointing, since I was hoping for a different outfit for Palpatine other than his main one from Revenge of the Sith.

Promobricks told Palpatine from Castaways is the same as in gunship in their Instagram story yesterday

Both designs are accurate. The sand blue costume is from ESB while the grey costume is from ROTJ.

LEGO. Does. Not. Care. About. Anniversaries.
Boba could be either version; I asked u/FluffySky6 about it, and he said that he could neither remember nor really make out what colour Boba’s arms and legs are.

First off, those Fox and Palpatine renders aren't even from skywalker saga, IIRC. They're from some mobile game. That said, the leaked fox parts from the instructions or whatever they were matched the game render pretty closely, down to them both having that print error.

Normally, yes, we get at most 1 set with anniversary timing or box art. But ROTJ already has what, 4-5 sets and a GWP? It wouldn't surprise me if this was ROTJ boba.

Printed arms confirmed, as well as a cloth element for Boba; he did not remember seeing one for Vader, though.

Of course they do. Perhaps not as much as you’d like, but there’s a disproportionate amount of ROTJ and Clone Wars sets this year for what is…the anniversary of ROTJ and Clone Wars

Yes, you’re right. I completely forgot castaways existed. In which case I guess it would make a bit more sense that Lego is sharing designs, since it’s a mobile game that probably uses the same assets their promotional animations use, rather than a console game that’s been out for a year.

For the Boba discussion, I think Return of the Jedi Boba is more likely regardless, because we’ve never got one with arm printing, and they can re-use the fig in the Sail Barge next year.

One quirk I’ve noticed with the tie interceptor is that it seem to be based off Gideon’s remnant version, which has a dark horizontal stripe running across the front and back of the cockpit, and it also doesn’t feature an imperial insignia on the side of the wings.

Another thing I noticed is that the Lego tie bomber’s transport cart and yellow bombs also seem to be based on concept art seen at the end of last week’s episode. Neat.
