Okay, surely THIS new image of one of the 501st specialists is real. Can anyone confirm?

A neck bracket with a 1x1 printed tile on it would make it a ton better, but even if it is fake I don't think the real one will be much different

I mean, the figure isn't fully the figure, so it might have a neck bracket on the back. The one in the picture is missing the visor and definately won't come with two silver pistols.

which casts doubt on the leaked regular 501st helmet (which has its top printing closer to the fin).

I thought we already knew that all of the previous ones were faked

We suspected, but there was still a chance that it could be legitimate.

Ah, alright.

The Heavy’s helmet has gaps between the fin and the top printing (like the 212th), which casts doubt on the leaked regular 501st helmet (which has its top printing closer to the fin).

I'd say this is enough to semi-confidently conclude that the other one was fake at this point.

I know its missing accessories, but Promobricks did mention that "no shoulder bag and no backpack are used"

I know we don't have clear images yet but based off the leak is there a reason Lego is shifting the print down on helmets when the previous prints were fine?

I assume that it has something to do with the new helmet mould.

Definitely to do with the new mould, but if the old one was fine, why is whatever printing machine they use for this one not able to print there?

Not to turn this into a wishlist, but I can see the next TIE Interceptor being based on Fallen Order (Minifigs would be Cal, Second Sister, a TIE Pilot, and maybe a Purge Trooper Commander).

Now that we know the next TIE Interceptor will be in a Mando season 3 set, let me propose an alternate solution: a TIE Reaper, based on the opening section of the game, with the same minifigure selection (plus maybe a Ninth Sister bigfig with the new Thanos mold).

Lol, imagine if the leaked TIE Bomber was actually not a TIE Bomber but really just a TIE Boarding Craft from Andor and R1 (literally the same but no bomb play feature). That would be funny.

That would indeed be funny  They are so similar that one could easily pass for the other. I wonder why they didn’t go for a more unique design for the Boarding Craft

That would be pretty funny. (The boarding craft is in ESB too, so having Vader in the set would still make sense!)

I assume it's meant to look like a repurposed TIE bomber. Budget or whatever, they just hollowed one out and put seats in it.

Yeah, maybe. The TIE shuttle has inverted wings half the time it shows up so I always get it mixed around.

I'm pretty sure the one from ESB is still unconfirmed as it was hard to tell which it was. If it is the shuttle, then that would, I think, be its only canon appearance.

In this interview, Denise Gough (who plays Dedra on Andor) says they made a LEGO version of her. Is she just joking and/or confused? Or does she know about something and doesn't know it actually isn't out yet?

Compared to other series, Andor takes a political and contemporary approach. Is this what intrigued you?

Tony and the other writers have written a story that’s only incidentally a Star Wars series. In some ways, it’s something else — more mature, complex and tense. I’ve often thought that for my 7-year-old nephew watching Andor couldn’t have been very easy. Then, they made a Lego version of me, and everything was okay. Jokes aside: that I am able to say these things, to say them so honestly, it’s a wonderful thing for me.

Dedra Meero appears in a Skywalker Saga DLC, but that it fairly obscure; I think that Gough is referring to an actual (physical) Minifig!

Given that she's talking about her nephew, it's possible her nephew showed her the skywalker saga DLC, but a physical minifigure is also a definite possibility.

it shows up in some junior novel or something about the millennium falcon, but in terms of "real" canon, yeah.

(I've long mantained that the junior novels and stuff like resistance and forces of destiny are in-universe media aimed at kids, hence the more childlike dialogue and plotlines)

Yeah, I reckon she just knows about the Skywalker Saga. Surely they'd be a bit more careful when it comes to telling things to outsiders
