Thanks, I'll edit him into the list, make a few other changes ( I think I was wrong about a 6th figure in the ghost for example) and put it in the news thread later today. 1 hour ago, Zap Rowsdower said: I'd love that, but I think an E-wing alone would cost $70-80. I don't think there would be room for a Headhunter. The last E-wing they did was £60 in 2013, I could see a scaled down one for £40-£60 which would leave enough budget for a decent z-95 headhunter ( I mean the head hunter is a much simpler ship it could easily work in the £25-£40 range depending on exact size). Though I don't remember seeing a headhunter in the trailer, I do remember the assumed E-wing. Quote

ginja Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Legos quality control is slipped. I'm building the razorcrest, and weirdly have a double of one of the bags. But also have a missing piece in another bag. Neither of which have I ever encountered before. Odd. Quote

The simple fact that you've never had this happen to you indicates this. I personally have never heard an example of someone getting a double bag and missing a part in one set before now. I don't reckon things like this happen any more often than they have in the past. I'd wait for us to see an obvious increase in things like this happening before I get concerned. Flawless Cowboy Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Having the tie interceptor in hand now I can say I’m a little disappointed Lego still can’t figure out how to make spherical cockpits. It uses so many curved pieces and yet from a distance still looks like a square. The bomber is still the most accurately shaped tie (next to the UCS) Quote

Its because another bag is missing. Quote

Should be here in like 15 days, which is cool. And the extra parts might be useful for mocs, or finally building jeracs x wing. Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 I hope instructions for the Yoda Fountain employee gift set show up online at some point. The dual molded legs on Yoda are an interesting choice though… Quote
QuiggoldsPegLeg Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 The weirdest part of the dual-moulded Yoda legs is that Yoda doesn’t even wear shoes. So if they were going to do dual-moulding (which feels unnecessary) the bottom of his legs should be green, not brown or nougat like they appear to be in this set. I have no idea why they aren’t the normal tan legs. Quote

Nah they've slipped a lot in the last five years or so I have personally experienced missing pieces, double /missing / ripped open bags, missing sticker sheets, poorly aligned sticker sheets in $500+ sets, my C-3PO from the UCS Landspeeder had his legs printed wrong (literally the deciding factor on why i bought the set and it was printed wrong). For all this the company has a fantastic customer service department and they will make most of these issues right, but they are simply producing more than they used to and it shows in their quality control. Mandalorianknight Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 After building the death star promo, I've completely turned around on it. I think it's an excellent promo. It looks great, is pretty sizeable, and honestly I greatly prefer it to something like the homestead, figure or not. Quote

Mhm, and now a bunch of people who couldn't get a DS before due to budget can actually have some form of DS that's not too tiny. I'm very happy with it for that reason. However, because of this, the VIP coin should definitely have been a figure. Edited May 8, 2023 by AD_Bricks Quote

Yeah it's fantastic you can sell it for $35 to someone who missed the sale and wants it for some reason. VERY strange way to give out giftcards there Lego, I really would have preferred something i couldn't make on bricklink for 1/10th the promo requirement though. Got it as a bonus to my AT-AT w/ double vip points so i can't complain too much but damn it's worthless lmao. Quote
Matichado Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Hey guys, it’s been a while, any news on the gunship? I’m still hoping it got changed last minute into a regular classic LAAT Quote
Willsy Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 (edited) I really don't mind the fact that the LAAT is a variant. We've had 3 play-scale regular versions and a UCS rendition using that livery. I see it as a win all-round: it's unique enough that long-time collectors who might already own past versions can justify it more, and gives newer fans who don't already own a gunship a chance to do so. The primarily dark red colour scheme should also look gorgeous, based on how the guard one looks in-universe. Edited May 9, 2023 by Willsy Quote

Its third 501 battlepack I’m quite tired of the 501st as well, the specialist pack is not army buildable and they are less desirable to me than a new legion would be. Hopefully this means no more 501st going forward though Quote
McMurder_them_softly Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 I too, am over the 501st. Considering the 332nd different (in my view), I'll take it but then yeah other legions would be cool. Picked up both dioramas on Saturday (May 6th) since everything else was wiped clean. Got another set of promos in addition to my UCS X-Wing order from April 30th (midnight). X-Wing looks huge in-person. Speeder Bike diorama looked better than I thought as well. Quote
