I was already thinking how cool it would be if they made a mech set for Moff Gideon given his Dark Trooper armor in S3. It'd be a super cheap and accessible way to get him. Pair it with a Din Djarrin mech and you have the makings of an affordable, fun face-off. Or better yet, make it a smaller IG-12 with Grogu piloting it and include Din on the side with a blaster.

A plain Clone Trooper mech just like the Stormtrooper would be pretty great but I don't see how they could make it look all that much different without making it a specific legion.

I don't know, these mechs have some neat potential and are just fun but we need more like the Boba Fett mech and fewer like the Darth Vader mech.

Im only in for a Jar jar mech, rest is garbage

Yes, my thoughts exactly! I’d recently thought of these exact sets.

Mech’s have nice potential. I could add more: Royal Guard, Senate Comando, Jango Fett, Sabine Wren etc. I will stop the wishlisting, now.

Admittedly, “human” heroes are far harder to do in theory, but I am sure they’ll find a way.

so 1 month ago I ve said that boba from mech will be the best looking minifigure in this year. From all revealed minifigures so far do you agree?

If he included a cloth cape, I'd give it to you; but right now for me its between Bo-Katan in the Spider Tank and the Luke in the UCS X-Wing.

I agree with YourLocalB2 - Bo-Katan is the best fig so far this year. I'm not normally one for hyper-detailed figs, but the arm printing works really well with the Mandalorian armour, and the update is a marked improvement on the (already decent, IMO) one that came in the Gauntlet set.

I present to you:

Queen Amidala vs. Queen Apailana vs. Queen Jamillia: Ultimate Catfight

I like Vane mostly so far this year, but I will not crown him until all products are released.

Vane is another good one - to be fair I think the other unnamed fig in that set is also excellent, even just as a generic SW fig.

For me:
1. Imperial Scout Trooper
2. Bo Katan
3. Boba Fett (from the mech)
4. 501st officer
5. Mandalorian Fleet Commander (might be biased)
6. Endor Leia (even though she is innacurate)
7. Snub fighter pilot

Boba is defs really cool, I still think we havent seen the best minifigures yet, but of all of them so far, I love the 332nd troops. They're just my faves. Boba and Bo are also super good.

Completely agree, I reckon there are going to be some stunners!

Totally agree as well. I'm expecting Sabine to be excellent, and I'm a big fan of the shock troopers so I'm biased but I think Fox and his men will look great too.

Can anyone here tell me how many studs wide does the Midi Scale Y-Wing look like in the uncoming 75365 Yavin 4 base? I am thinking about doing other ships in scale to that for the base. I counted around 14 studs wide, does that sound right?

I’m expecting the Ahsoka and Sabine figs to be excellent since IIRC they will both have arm printing, and if Sabine‘s appearance is the same as the Rebels finale then that should be a beautiful fig. If Rex in the UCS Venator is indeed the TSS version, then that should be a great fig too.

We saw her in the trailer, and I hate to say it, but she'll probably have long, pink hair instead of the cool season 4 hair, and might even be in a jacket instead of her armour. Should still be a decent fig, though. And that's worse case scenario.

when reviews of august sets?

I think reviews don't normally go out until a week or two before general release. Some people will review them if they find them on shelves early, but it'll be a month at least before we see these reviewed.

I don't think so, I think both Ahsoka and Sabine figures will be based off of these versions: bretx8w17u3b1.jpg

Not to spoil anything, but I can tell you I'm pretty sure that these two will be the ones from the stuff about the show I do know.

If it is long-haired Sabine tho, that'll still be a wonderful figure tho lol
