Interesting choice considering the stormtrooper mech coming out soon.

Stormtrooper Mech sales rip. I bet some super desperate army builders were gonna use that, but now there is 0 reason to buy it.

It’s good news for us in Europe, but am I right in thinking the rest of the world don’t get the magazines, it might drive the brick link price down in the long term.

What set is that stormtrooper from?

Also I feel like it’s only recently rebels has started to become “liked” I think the chances of a UCS Ghost are really low. There are still SW fans out there who refuse to watch rebels because of the animation style and because it’s not the clone wars so I don’t think it is a good UCS candidate I don’t think rebels is still popular enough for it to sell

I don’t want to wish list, but I think there are very few ships that really need the minifig scale ucs treatment and the Ghost is top of the list.

two reasons:

1. Interesting color palette that isn’t grey.

2. We’ve seen a lot of the inside of this ship so the interior details are a knownish quantity

I don’t want to wish list or speculate to much, but everyone on this forum is wanting one but I don’t doubt a UCS Ghost would be good but I don’t think Rebels is popular enough to ever get a UCS set let alone a new system scale set. It just hasn’t got the popularity of the OT, the prequels or the clone wars to justify Lego making one. So I think if people want a Ghost ship for their collection this will be their last opportunity to do so

If anything, maybe her lightsaber hilts are incorrect and she will come with the curved hilts they used for her Rebels figure.

I hope so....somewhat disappointed by them not going with those pieces but one could always BL them. So. Not terrible.

also, where are the other sets?!? Lol

Why, are both the stormies in the mech and magazine a new variant? Otherwise I dont see ur point

I love the actual build, but not a fan of the minifigure choice, no new mold or nothing in this set, a new alien could have been way nicee than another mon calamarian.

But dont have the old ghost, just the figures so I will probably end up buying it.

A couple of enemy goon figures, a few more new republic troops or an Ahsoka repeat would have definitely made the mini figure selection better!

Well new Ahsoka trailer dropped, so should inform us on the new sets and what they'll be

We could likely see the rest get revealed/leaked today.

I’m very excited for the Ahsoka sets!
Here’s hoping they live up to the quality of the Ghost/Phantom.

I am intrigued to see official pictures of the Gunship too…let’s see if it’s all an overreaction.

Ahsoka show trailer gets me hyped, I reckon we will see more sets in 2024, atleast I hope.

Thrawn and Ezra alone are reason enough for at least another set next year. Same goes for Mando S3, which also has a lot of potential still :excited: Hope next year’s winter wave is a return to form, as the last three January waves were all less than stellar

Edit: Maybe the Ghost reveal was initially supposed to tie in with the trailer since the latter was allegedly delayed for a couple of days :shrug_oh_well:

I definitely think the other Ahsoka set we know nothing about is Shin's starfighter and either an A-Wing or E-Wing. Either for me would be cool, but would prefer the E-wing if I had to choose.

Yes my thoughts exactly for all three points here.

Make January waves good again, they’re honestly an amazing start to the year if the sets are good.

I think we all would be all over an E-Wing.

I think it will be Shin’s Starfighter as this set is rumoured to be a dual pack alike the Tie and Fang Fighter earlier this year.

Either way, the rumoured minifigure selection is amazing and certainly would make the other 2 sets even more exciting when put together.

So far, based on the two trailers and rumors for the two unseen sets, I think Lego's done a great job covering the Ahsoka series. All the big characters seem to be represented aside from Ezra and Thrawn, neither of which I thought was likely for the initial wave, plus maybe some specific character variants like long-hair Sabine. I could see us getting some spoilery figures with that dark-sider Eta-class shuttle as a set next year.

As for the show itself, I have high hopes. TCW and Rebels are some of my favorite Star Wars storytelling outside of the OT and this show feels like a culmination and love letter to what came before.

I probably don't need to put a spoiler warning for the new trailer, but I will anyway.

Spoiler

Definitely looks like we're getting an E-Wing as the New Republic starship in the versus set! I guess the other one will be Shin's, which has to be the one on the Ghost's box.

Just picked up a scout trooper magazine, whilst in Germany, interestingly enough ( or probably not at interesting to most of you) the Lego bag was mounted on the cover using glue, whereas the UK version of the magazine uses tape. The AT-TE in the July issue looks pretty cool too.

But yeah I can echo the sentiment that the August issue's storm will stop me getting multiple mechs.

in Germany the magazine also uses sometimes tape - don't know on what it is depending  (probably still not interesting to most of you)

Sign me up for a return to form with the winter waves. They’ve been really lacklustre since 2021.

I do understand Lego’s approach with diversifying the usual winter / summer dichotomy due to the D+ shows, but dislike having to wait longer every year to see the really good sets. A spoilery Ahsoka and Mando S3 set are musts.

Probably getting ahead of myself, but the Ahsoka sets seem to be the best mainstream product we’re getting out of Lego Star Wars this year. Can’t wait to see the T6 and dogfight sets. One of the r/Legoleak mods seems to think the other vehicle in the dogfight set is a downsized X-Wing, though I’m hoping for an E-Wing given the latest trailer.
