I don‘t see the problem. We got three great, accurate sets with amazing minifigs, and suddenly people turn on them because of limited screentime? Just be patient, we will see some spoilery stuff in the future. This is how they operate

For the record (and rereading my post, I didn’t phrase it well), I think the wave is great. I didn’t mean that I think the wave seems so much worse, but rather that for some it’s easier to look back and not like sets as much because of innacuracies (like with Kylo’s shuttle).

Not something that bothers me, but I see how some people think sets are “worse” after they see inaccuracies that are just because of lack of concept art.

the Rex figure accidentally looks dead-on to the live action version

Uhm... no? The Lego version has an angular visor, making it inconsistent with both the 2021-2022 minifigures and the live-action depiction.

No, you didn‘t. You claimed the show was delayed until 2025 and that the set would be replaced by another one. The set not being released on Jan 1st obviously doesn‘t mean the show has been delayed by over a year. And there can‘t be a replacement set considering how long the design process takes

Accurate?

Accurate?

Um, yes? Sure, the E-Wing and Shin‘s starfighter share no scenes, but the designs, functions, colour schemes, and minifigs are all accurate. The wrong lightsaber colour can be excused, as trans-neon orange has been discontinued.

Regarding the Star Wars series, it is possible that it might take a year or more, before some see those series.

I think I did not see Mandalorian, until Disney+ was released in Sweden, september 2020.

Spider Tank, might not be 100% accurate, but it seems well made. Snub fighter is accurate too, especially in episodes where it can be seen better.

This is my subjective opinion but I think the T-6 has been iconic in the show, we have spent a ton of time in the ship and it has so many potential play features based off of things it did on screen that Lego couldn't capitalize on at an 80$ scale, it's frustrating to see that ship and know I am not buying it above 60$ and I am only buying it so I don't miss out on the Huyang figure. It's slim odds they remake the T-6 in 5 years but imo it was worthy of a similar price slot to the ghost. My best odds of getting a decent T-6 are hoping for an overpriced UCS monstrosity that kicks up into the 4-600 dollar range, even though this ship could be done well for far less, IMO the interior could be executed better than the Razor-crest or Ghost because of the simpler layout.

Anyways, the T-6 is a bummer for me, and I really don't like the fighter sets this year eating up the higher price slots, shin's ship should have been a small throwaway 30$ set like that pirate thing, the ghost is also frustrating because of the canopy sticker, I don't mind all the other detail stickers and that set has a bunch, but the iconic WW2 bomber look comes from the canopies on the front of the ship, and it's frustrating that all the other ships got printed canopies, knowing how mediocre the T-6 wound up being they should have just given that a sticker canopy so the ghost could have printed or sacrificed one if not both the irrelevant new republic mini-figs to print the canopy.

At the end of the day it's fine it's just a toy the ghost will look cool on my shelf and I will buy the T-6 discounted and hope for a remake in the future. Half the game with lego is the random nature of which sets wind up amazing and which wind up being immediate "I'll wait for the remake" sets. It's just a bummer that random ships like the Scythe wind up being masterpieces when there are plenty of other more iconic ships that could have used one or two more design passes. The T-6 has been the perfect jedi "home-ship", so many fun features are built for a jedi, it's like a jedi batmobile.

Assuming that Ahsoka's T-6 Shuttle is around for the long haul, I think we could see a remake of it within the next couple years. Maybe for Filoni's movie, along with a more accurate Mando N-1 remake.

Through the three sets we've gotten, I think the first half of Ahsoka's been covered really well, though there are some things I'd still like to see of course (the Eta-class shuttle, Sabine's speeder bike, her Lothal outfit, a Lothcat figure, HK droids). With only one episode to go, I think we just need another set or two to sufficiently cover this series, or season rather.

As for the Skeleton Crew set, it doesn't surprise me whatsoever to hear that it may be on hold. Probably only for a couple months but still.

Plenty of mocs you could look into that make a screen accurate T6 that doesn’t break the bank. Most even use the base playset as a foundation. For what it is, a set for nine year olds to spin its wings to their heart’s content, it’s fine and it does its job well.

Strong agree!

I'll take an affordable playset, aimed at young kids everyday over an expensive, collectors set.

We're old enough to MOC/mod our own stuff  exactly the way we want it, let's make sure kids can afford the set and have some fun.

I hope one of the clone sets next year that are rumored to have Shock Troopers in them come with a nice set of bright red accessories (visors and antennae) because the old dark red visor and antenna look pretty ghastly on the new shock troopers and the grey certainly doesn't look right either. While we obviously (Or I guess more accurately i should say, PROBABLY) won't get this exact design for a heavy shock trooper from BF2 2017, I do still think the matching red looks way better than either dark red or grey. If you're gonna give us the ugly helmet holes lego, you could atleast do us a solid and include matching colour accessories cus right now my shock trooper helmets are ugly with AND without accessories. Luckily I have some spare macrobinoculars that look good on my two shock troopers but I can't have a whole platoon of just sniper clones.

I'd be happy to get those parts in new colors, but I gotta be honest, in that exact image the visor looks a shade darker than the helmet paint to me. Same with Vaughn, I've actually got a dark red visor on my copy of that fig too.

Fair point, I'm just griping and waiting for the stars to align like they did with the Scythe but for a ship I really like. Buying 1-3 sets for my shelf and then selling and repeating the process is as far as my collecting goes. I don't really moc stuff, a few years ago I did some lego idea stuff called "penguin quest", made an orca helicopter thing, it was fun. I'll buy the T-6 when it goes on sale next year sometime, unless I am near a lucky cosco soon and then if they make a new one in a few years I will get it.

the issue with old dark red to me is more that it looks maroon next to the red on the new shock troopers.

Just a random thought: a new Thrawn minifig should have the wear and tear of the uniform printed on it, and possibly even the actor's belly. That would be a nice way to differentiate it from the Rebels Thrawn minifig, which is quite perfect tbh. (Sure, the legs...). Just re-releasing it may be ok, yet I hope for that extra detail. Even better, if Mikkelsen's facial features could be somehow presented.

And since they showed Thrawn in the trailer, I am sure Lego was made aware of his appearance, so a Chimera-set with Thrawn, Enoch, a Great Mother, and two Night Troopers. Add in a Night Trooper BP, and a set for Ezra and Ahsoka the White... and I would be happy.

That would cover season 1 reasonably well I guess, unless something in the finale happens...

Similarly, I think the E-wing would outsell Shin's fighter by a wide margin if sold separately, not to mention Shin's fighter is way too big.

Perhaps, though I don't think that is a given: Baylan is a very popular character (and Shin to a lesser extent as well), and we all know how much minifigs drive the sales. Also, the E-Wing is mostly an EU-thing, which thus appeals more to older, rather involved fans. To fair, I doubt any of those two fighters would do terribly well.

Baylan and Shin should have had their shuttle but I guess they wanted fighters, rather than yet another shuttle.

Can anyone tell if the Venator GWP credit is metal or fabric? I haven't found any reviews and honestly can't tell.

I would guess similar to the Beskar key chain, but it is hard to tell. A little thinner then the key chain.

Strongly disagree with this.

The Rebels Thrawn figure is one of the worst cases of LEGO's poor design quality control, and it predates the current Clone problems. As a Legends fan, them getting his rank plaque wrong felt pretty insulting, similar to how their lack of care with the new Fox figure is insulting to CW fans.

I'd prefer it if they made the new figure not have any wear marks so that it could be used for Rebels Thrawn and also as a generic Grand Admiral torso.

I was going to say people have very short memories. I remember everyone absolutely slated Thrawn when it first came out but because it’s the only figure he’s had and at the time in a cheap set I think people forgot.

I also think that when we get the filoni film the E-wing will probably feature again more prominently and chances are could have also featured more in that rangers of the new republic which was cancelled so the ship will be more prominent to the films/tv rather than just eu
